A. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position at zone 831 ( 841) or 832 ( 842).
(2) Open passenger/crew door 831 ( 841) or 832 ( 842) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
(3) Open emergency exit doors 833 ( 843) and 834 ( 844) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-001).
(4) Remove emergency-exit door panels 833CZ ( 843CZ), 833DZ ( 843DZ), 833EZ
( 843EZ), 833FZ ( 843FZ), 833GZ ( 843GZ), 833HZ ( 843HZ), 834CZ ( 844CZ),
834DZ ( 844DZ), 834EZ ( 844EZ), 834FZ ( 844FZ), 834GZ ( 844GZ) and
834HZ ( 844HZ) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-012) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-013).
(5) Lift the insulation blanket.

4. Procedure

A. Inspection

Forward and Aft Emergency Exits ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Do a general visual inspection of the forward and aft emergency exits (zones 833 (843) and 834 (844)).
(2) Make sure that there are no signs of corrosion, cracks or damage.
(3) Make sure that all the installations are correctly attached.

5. Close-up
Subtask 05-28-30-410-069-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Put the insulation blanket back in position.
(3) Install emergency-exit door panels 833CZ ( 843CZ), 833DZ ( 843DZ),
833EZ ( 843EZ), 833FZ ( 843FZ), 833GZ ( 843GZ), 833HZ ( 843HZ), 834CZ
( 844CZ), 834DZ ( 844DZ), 834EZ ( 844EZ), 834FZ ( 844FZ), 834GZ
( 844GZ) and 834HZ ( 844HZ) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-400-012) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-400-013).
(4) Close emergency exit doors 833 ( 843) and 834 ( 844) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-410-001).
(5) Close passenger/crew door 831 ( 841) or 832 ( 842) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
(6) Remove the access platform(s).
