A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
WARNING: DO NOT EXTEND THE SLATS AND FLAPS WHEN THE THRUST REVERSER COWLS ARE DEPLOYED IN THE 45 DEG. POSITION.
   (1) Fully extend the flaps and the slats (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-008) and (Ref. AMM TASK 27-80-00-866-004).

   (1) Fully extend the flaps and the slats (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-008) and (Ref. AMM TASK 27-80-00-866-004).
4. Procedure
Subtask 05-25-00-210-051-A
A. Inspection
   (1) Do a general visual inspection of the wing lower surface (zones 500 and 600). This inspection includes the upper and lower surfaces of the slats and flaps.
   (2) Make sure that:
  • There is no damage (corrosion, leaks or cracks) on all the parts of the components and the structure that you can see.
  • All the installations (wiring, ducting and piping) are correctly attached.
5. Close-up

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Retract the flaps and the slats (Ref. AMM TASK 27-50-00-866-009) and (Ref. AMM TASK 27-80-00-866-005).
   (3) Remove all the fixtures, tools, test and support equipment used during this procedure.
