A. Get Access
   (1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at zone 433 (443).
   (2) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-802):
F Access Door of the Left Nacelle (Left Side) ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
F Access Panel and Door of the Left Nacelle (Right Side) ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
F Access Panel and Door of the Right Nacelle (Right Side) ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
F Access Door of the Right Nacelle (Left Side) ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
437AL 438AR 447AL and 448AR.
   (3) Remove the access panels (Ref. AMM TASK 71-61-11-000-801):
F Access Panel and Door of the Left Nacelle (Right Side) ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
F Access Door of the Right Nacelle (Left Side) ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
434AZ and 444AZ.
4. Procedure
Subtask 05-24-30-210-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Do a general visual inspection of the air intake (internal area as far as visible).
Make sure that:
  • There is no damage (corrosion, leaks or cracks) on all the parts of the components and the structure that you can see
  • All the installations (wiring, piping, ducting) are correctly attached.

A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Install the access panels (Ref. AMM TASK 71-61-11-400-801):
F Access Panel and Door of the Left Nacelle (Right Side) ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
F Access Door of the Right Nacelle (Left Side) ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
434AZ and 444AZ.
   (3) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-802):
F Access Door of the Left Nacelle (Left Side) ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
F Access Panel and Door of the Left Nacelle (Right Side) ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
F Access Panel and Door of the Right Nacelle (Right Side) ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
F Access Door of the Right Nacelle (Left Side) ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
437AL 438AR 447AL and 448AR.
   (4) Remove the access platform(s).
