3. Job Set-up
Subtask 05-24-10-010-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Get Access
   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position below zone 415 (425).
WARNING: BEFORE YOU START WORK, YOU MUST PUT ON A SAFETY HARNESS AND ATTACH IT TO THE ACCESS PLATFORM. WITHOUT A SAFETY HARNESS, YOU CAN FALL. THIS CAN KILL YOU OR CAUSE YOU INJURY.
   (2) Put on and attach the HARNESS, SAFETY before you start work in the work area.
   (3) Remove the pylon lateral access-doors (Ref. AMM TASK 54-51-21-000-001):

A. Inspection
F Lower Pylon Area ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
   (1) Do a general visual inspection of the lower part of the pylon (zones 415 and 425).
   (2) Make sure that there are no signs of corrosion, cracks or damage on all the parts of the components and the structure that you can see.
   (3) Make sure that all the installations (wiring, ducting, piping) are correctly attached.
5. Close-up
Subtask 05-24-10-410-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Install the pylon lateral access-doors (Ref. AMM TASK 54-51-21-400-001):
   (3) Remove the access platform(s).
   (4) Remove all the fixtures, tools, test and support equipment used during this procedure.
