Subtask 80-11-00-710-092-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Not Applicable
NOTE: Starter Air Valve (SAV) position is determined by starter speed and N2 speed. This fault is set when the Electronic Engine Control (EEC) senses the starter speed is not decreasing and N2 is above a certain value after the SAV is commanded closed.
4. Fault Isolation
WARNING: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO WORK ON THE ENGINE AFTER SHUTDOWN. THE ENGINE CAN STAY HOT FOR A LONG TIME. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS WARNING, INJURY CAN OCCUR.
WARNING: REFER TO THE MSDS FOR ALL MATERIAL USED AND THE MANUFACTURER'S SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR ALL EQUIPMENT USED. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS WARNING, INJURY CAN OCCUR.
CAUTION: MAKE SURE YOU REMOVE ELECTRICAL POWER FROM THE EEC BEFORE YOU REMOVE THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS INSTRUCTION, DAMAGE TO THE EEC CAN OCCUR.

     (a) Put a WRENCH 3 8 IN - STANDARD with an EXTENSION into the starter air control valve manual override hole location at the 3 o'clock position on the thrust reverser and rotate the starter air control valve AMM 80-11-00-040-803.
1 If the valve is stuck or binding:
         a Replace VALVE-PNEUMATIC STARTER [4005KS] AMM 80-11-03-000-801 and AMM 80-11-03-400-801.
b Do the test given in Para. 4.B.
     (b) If the valve moves freely, continue with the next step.
   (2) Do a check of the starter magnetic chip collector (102KM) AMM 80-11-00-200-801.
     (a) If particles were found above the limit, replace STARTER-PNEUMATIC [100KM] AMM 80-11-01-000-801 and AMM 80-11-01-400-801.
     (b) Do the test given in Para. 4.B.
