3. Fault Confirmation
Subtask 33-14-00-710-052-C

A. Test
(1) Do the operational test of the annunciator-light test system AMM 33-14-00-710-001.

Annunciator Light Test and Dimming

(2) If one or more annunciator lights are off during the test,
refer to the related schematics and make sure that the failures occur independently ASM 331404 to ASM 331423.
(a) If they occur independently:

Do the fault isolation procedure (Ref. TSM TASK 33-14-00-810-801) for each defective annunciator light one after the other.

(b) If they do not occur independently:

Find the component(s) to which all the annunciator lights are related and that are possibly damaged.

1 If all the defective annunciator lights are related to the same fuse of one of the four transformers ASM 331402:

Go to Para. A.

2 If all the defective annunciator lights are related to the same annunciator-light test and interface-board ASM 331402:

Go to Para. B.

3 If all the defective annunciator lights are related to the same transformer 36LP ASM 331402:

Go to Para. C.

4 If all the defective annunciator lights are related to the same transformer 31LP or 37LP ASM 331402:

Go to Para. D.

5 If all the defective annunciator lights are related to transformer 35LP ASM 331402:

Go to Para. E.

6 If all the defective annunciator lights are related to different annunciator-light test and interface boards, from 1LP to 12LP ASM 331402:

Go to Para. F.

7 If all the defective annunciator lights are related to transformers 31LP and 35LP ASM 331403:

Go to Para. G.

8 If all the annunciator lights are off during the test:

Go to Para. H.

4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 33-14-00-810-051-A

A. The defective fuse is isolated

Replace the related fuse on its transformer.

(1) If the fault continues

Do a check and repair the wiring between the related fuse output and the first terminal block ASM 331402.

Subtask 33-14-00-810-052-A

B. The defective annunciator-light test and interface-board is isolated:

Replace the related annunciator-light test and interface-board AMM 33-14-33-000-001 and AMM 33-14-33-400-001.

(1) If the fault continues:

Do a check and repair the related wiring ASM 331402.

Subtask 33-14-00-810-053-A

C. The defective transformer 36LP is isolated:

Do a check for continuity between pins A/47 and A/48 and between A/49 and A/50 of each related annunciator-light test and interface-board (from 18LP to 20LP) ASM 331402.

(1) If there is no continuity at one of these boards:

Replace the related annunciator-light test and interface-board (18LP) or (19LP) or (20LP) AMM 33-14-33-000-001 and AMM 33-14-33-400-001.

(2) If there is continuity at each board

Do a check and repair the related wiring
. between each annunciator light test and interface board
. from the pin A/47 of the annunciator light test and interface board (18LP) to the first terminal block
. from the pin A/49 (18LP) and the pin A/50 (20LP) of the annunciator-light test and interface-boards to the ground terminal ASM 331402.

(3) If the fault continues

Replace the XFMR-SYS 2 [36LP] AMM 33-14-51-000-001 and AMM 33-14-51-400-001.

(4) If the fault continues

Do a check for 115VAC at pin A/A2 of the control relay (39LP) ASM 331403.

(a) If there is 115VAC

Replace the CTL-RELAY (39LP).

1 If the fault continues

Do a check of the wiring between the relay (39LP) pin A/A3 and the pin A/A of the transformer (36LP) ASM 331403.

a If there is no continuity

Repair the above wiring.

b If there is continuity

Repair the wiring between the related transformer pin A/C and the ground terminal ASM 331403.

(b) If there is no 115VAC

Do a check of the related circuit breaker status (27LP).

1 If the circuit breaker is closed

Do a check of the wiring between pin A/A2 of the control relay (39LP) and the circuit breaker (27LP) ASM 331403.

a If there is no continuity

Repair the above wiring.

b If there is continuity

Replace the C/B-LIGHTING/ANN LT SPLY/XFMR/BUS 2 [27LP] .

2 If the circuit breaker is open

Close the circuit breaker.

Subtask 33-14-00-810-054-A

D. The defective transformer 31LP or 37LP is isolated:

Replace the related XFMR-ESS [31LP] or XFMR-SYS 1 [37LP] AMM 33-14-51-000-001 and AMM 33-14-51-400-001.

(1) If the fault continues:

Do a check for 115VAC at pin A/A2 of the related control relay ASM 331403.

(a) If there is 115VAC

Replace the related CTL-RELAY (38LP, 41LP).

1 If the fault continues:

Do a check of the wiring between the related relay (38LP, 41LP) pin A/A3 and the related transformer (37LP, 31LP) pin A/A ASM 331403.

a If there is no continuity:

Repair the above wiring.

b If there is continuity:

Repair the wiring between the related transformer pin A/C and the ground terminal ASM 331403.

(b) If there is no 115VAC

Do a check of the related circuit breaker status (26LP) or (29LP).

1 If the circuit breaker is closed

Do a check of the wiring between that pin and the related circuit breaker (26LP) or (29LP) ASM 331403.

a If there is no continuity:

Repair the above wiring.

b If there is continuity:

Replace the related C/B-LIGHTING/ANN LT SPLY/XFMR/BUS 1 [26LP] or C/B-LIGHTING/XFMR/115V.5V/ESS BUS [29LP] .

2 If the circuit breaker is open

Close the circuit breaker.

Subtask 33-14-00-810-062-A

E. The defective transformer 35LP is isolated:

Replace XFMR-ESS [35LP] AMM 33-14-51-000-001 and AMM 33-14-51-400-001.

(1) If the fault continues:

Do a check for 115VAC at pin A/A2 of the essential-control bright/dimmer relay (42LP) ASM 331403.

(a) If there is 115VAC:

Replace the CTL-RELAY (42LP).

1 If the fault continues:

Do a check of the wiring between pin A/A3 of the essential-control bright/dimmer relay (42LP) and pin A/A of the essential transformer (35LP) ASM 331403.

a If there is no continuity:

Repair the wiring .

b If there is continuity:

Repair the wiring between pin A/C of the essential transformer (35LP) and the ground ASM 331403.

(b) If there is no 115VAC:

Do a check for 115VAC at ASM 331403:
. Pin A/A1 of the emergency essential relay (40LP), and
. Pin A/X1 of the emergency essential relay (40LP).

1 If there is 115VAC:

Replace the RELAY-ESS/EMERGENCY (40LP).

a If the fault continues:

Do a check and repair the wiring between ASM 331403:
. Pin A/A2 of the emergency essential relay (40LP) and pin A/A2 of the essential-control bright/dimmer relay (42LP), and
. Pin A/X2 of the emergency essential relay (40LP) and the ground.

2 If there is no 115VAC:

Do a check and repair the wiring between ASM 331403:
. Pin A/A1 of the emergency essential relay (40LP) and the circuit breaker of the essential-busbar 115V/5V lightning-transformer (29LP), and
. The first branch point and pin A/X1 of the relay (40LP).

Subtask 33-14-00-810-055-C

F. The defective annunciator-light test and interface-boards from 1LP to 12LP are isolated:

Do a check for continuity between pins A/47 and A/48 and between pins A/49 and A/50 of each related annunciator-light test and interface-board (from 1LP to 12LP) ASM 331402.

(1) If there is no continuity at one of these boards:
(a) Replace the annunciator-light test and interface-board related to the this fault:

BOARD-ANN LT TEST & INTFC [1LP] or BOARD-ANN LT TEST & INTFC [2LP] or BOARD-ANN LT TEST & INTFC [3LP] or BOARD-ANN LT TEST & INTFC [4LP] or BOARD-ANN LT TEST & INTFC [5LP] or,
BOARD-ANN LT TEST & INTFC [6LP] or BOARD-ANN LT TEST & INTFC [7LP] or BOARD-ANN LT TEST & INTFC [8LP] or BOARD-ANN LT TEST & INTFC [9LP] or BOARD-ANN LT TEST & INTFC [10LP] or BOARD-ANN LT TEST & INTFC [11LP] or BOARD-ANN LT TEST & INTFC [12LP] , AMM 33-14-33-000-001 and AMM 33-14-33-400-001.

(2) If there is continuity at each board, do a check and repair the related wiring:

Between each annunciator light test and interface board
From the pins A/48 of the annunciator-light test and interface-board (1LP) to the first terminal block
From the pins A/50 of the annunciator light test and interface boards (1LP) and (12LP) to the ground terminal ASM 331402.

Subtask 33-14-00-810-063-A

G. The defective transformers 31LP and 35LP are isolated:

Do a check of the status of the circuit breaker of the essential-busbar 115V/5V lightning-transformer (29LP).

(1) If the circuit breaker is closed:
(a) Do a check of the wiring between ASM 331403:

The circuit breaker of the essential-busbar 115V/5V lightning-transformer (29LP) and the first branch point.

1 If there is no continuity:
- Repair the wiring.
2 If there is continuity:

Replace C/B-LIGHTING/XFMR/115V.5V/ESS BUS [29LP] .

(2) If the circuit breaker is open:

Close the circuit breaker.

Subtask 33-14-00-810-056-A

H. All annunciator lights are off during the test

do a check of the circuit breaker (30LP) status.

(1) If the circuit breaker is closed

Do a check for 28VDC at pin 3B of the switch 33LP ASM 331402.

(a) If there is 28VDC

Repair the wiring from that pin to the first terminal block ASM 331402.

(b) If there is no 28VDC

Replace the SW-INT LT/ANN LT [33LP] .

1 If the fault continues

Do a check of the wiring between the circuit breaker (30LP) and the switch (33LP).

a If there is no continuity

Repair the above wiring ASM 331402.

b If there is continuity

Replace the C/B-LIGHTING/TST/BOARD/SPLY [30LP] .

(2) If the circuit breaker is open

Close the circuit breaker (30LP).

I. Do the test given in Para. 3.
