Subtask 32-43-00-710-071-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. If you felt severe vibration in all of the aircraft and if the vibration occurred in the conditions that follow:
  • Only at a taxi speed of less than 10 knots (18.5 km/h)
  • While you applied pedal braking
  • When the temperature of the brakes was more than 200 deg.C (392 deg.F).

NOTE: Vibration can occur at high brake temperatures and low pedal deflection.
NOTE: You can also refer to this vibration as brake shuddering.
   (1) Do the troubleshooting procedure (Ref. TSM TASK 32-42-00-810-841).
Subtask 32-43-00-860-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
AMM 24-41-00-861-002
   (2) On the right center instrument-panel 400VU, make sure that the landing-gear control lever is in the DOWN position.
   (3) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the landing-gear control lever.
   (4) On the landing gear control and indicating panel 402VU, make sure that the A/SKID & N/W STRG switch is in the ON position.
   (5) Make sure that the CHOCK - WHEEL(S) are in position.
   (6) On parking brake panel 110VU, make sure that the PARK BRK control switch is in the OFF position.
   (7) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only) AMM 31-60-00-860-001.
   (8) Pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system
AMM 29-10-00-863-002.
Subtask 32-43-00-710-069-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
C. Operational Test of the Alternate Braking with Anti-Skid
ACTION
RESULT
1.On the CAPT or F/O side, push quickly the two brake pedals.
On the right center instrument-panel 400VU, the brake Yellow-pressure triple-indicator shows the pressure values for the left and right side.
The pistons related to the Yellow hydraulic system are extended.
Make sure that the hydraulic pressure on triple indicator is between 2400 psi (165.47 bar) and 2700 psi (186.16 bar).
2.Release the brake pedals.
The triple indicator shows that the brake pressure decreases to zero.
The pistons related to the Yellow hydraulic system are retracted.
   (1) If, during the operationl test, at lest one of the conditions that follow are shown, do the fault isolation given in para. 4:
  • There are vibrations and noise in the hydraulic compartment.
  • There is a noise around the Direct Drive Valve (DDV) during alternate braking.
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 32-43-00-810-094-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. If there is a noise from the Direct Drive Valve (DDV) during alternate braking
   (1) Do a check and repair the wiring from the pin A/B of the ABCU (95GG) to the ground ASM 324303.
     (a) Do the test given in Para. 3.B.
   (2) If the fault continues:
     (a) Do a visual inspection of the connector of the ABCU [95GG] :
1 Do a check of pin B of connector A and repair ASM 324303.
2 If there is contamination, corrosion, bent or broken pins:
3 Do the test given in Para. 3.B.
   (3) If the fault continues:
     (a) Replace ABCU [95GG] AMM 32-43-34-000-001 and AMM 32-43-34-400-001.
     (b) Do the test given in Para. 3.B.
5. Close-up
Subtask 32-43-00-860-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) Depressurize the Yellow hydraulic system
AMM 29-23-00-864-001.
   (2) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
AMM 24-41-00-862-002.
   (3) Remove the warning notice(s).
