3. Fault Confirmation
Subtask 32-31-00-710-082-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Test
   (1) If there are ATA 24 or ATA 32-4X faults, do the applicable troubleshooting procedure first.
     (a) If the message WRG: AA7G/AA9H/LGCIU1(5GA1) is shown from LGCIU-1 do the fault Isolation in Para. 4. A. (1).
     (b) If the message WRG: AA7G/AA9H/LGCIU2(5GA2) is shown from LGCIU-2 do the fault isolation in Para. 4. A. (7).
     (c) If the two messages are shown do the fault isolation in Para. 4. A. (13).
NOTE: The Fault Confirmation that follows is only applicable to LGCIU part number 80-178-2-8812.
   (2) If a message or messages that follow is shown during ground maintenance with no ECAM WARNING SHOWN:
  • WRG: AA7G/AA9H/LGCIU1(5GA1) and WRG: AA7G/AA9H/LGCIU2(5GA2)
     (a) Get access to the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST L/G page AMM 31-32-00-860-009.
     (b) Select the applicable LGCIU.
     (c) Select trouble shooting data (TSD).
     (d) The LGCIU TSD shows 1X00 on word 4:
  • 1 shows the aircraft on ground
  • X is not applicable
  • 00 shows the BITE recording command from the CFDS was null.
  • This shows that the fault occurred on the ground and can be ignored.
     (e) Refer to table 1.
Table 1
!Word 1 ! Word 2! Word 3! Word 4!
! XXXX ! XXXX ! XXXX ! 1X00 !
! XXXX ! XXXX ! XXXX ! XXXX !
! XXXX ! XXXX ! XXXX ! XXXX !

NOTE: This fault can occur with one L/G lifted off the ground and the aircraft electrical power on.
4. Fault Isolation
