3. Fault Confirmation
Subtask 32-31-00-860-091-A

A. Procedure
(1) Do a check of the post flight report:

If there is LGCIU 1 and 2 FAULT ECAM messages and related NLG door-closed target-position CFDS messages
or
If there is a CFDS NLG DOORS DO NOT CLOSED FULLY message shown.

(a) Do the Fault Isolation procedure.

4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 32-31-00-810-117-A

A. Procedure
(1) Do the detailed inspection of the nose gear door-operating mechanism AMM 32-30-00-200-001.
(2) Do a check of the NLG main door control-rod :
(a) Make sure that the rod length between the eye-end centers is 848 mm (33.3858 in.) plus or minus 0.2 mm (0.0079 in.) AMM 32-31-41-400-001.
(b) Make sure that the NLG main door control-rod is not damaged. If you find damage, replace it AMM 32-31-41-000-001 and AMM 32-31-41-400-001.
(3) Do a check of the nose-gear door clearances and mismatches AMM 32-22-00-220-001.
(4) Do the detailed inspection of the NLG door uplock units and pins AMM 32-31-00-200-001.
(5) Do the detailed inspection of the NLG door hinges AMM 52-82-00-200-001.
(6) Correct all the faults that you find.
(7) Do the functional test of the normal extension and retraction of the NLG AMM 32-31-00-720-003.
(8) If the NLG doors close in the correct time but do not uplock:
(a) Replace the UPLOCK ASSY-NLG DOOR [2534GM] AMM 32-31-14-000-001 and AMM 32-31-14-400-001.
(9) If the fault continues:
(a) Use the ground-door opening handle and operate the NLG doors 10 times AMM 32-22-00-010-001.

NOTE: This will bleed the door open/close hydraulic system.

(10) If the fault continues:
(a) Replace the ACTG CYL-NLG DOOR [2531GM] AMM 32-31-16-000-001 and AMM 32-31-16-400-001.
(11) If the fault continues:
(a) Replace the RESTRICTOR-NLG DOOR CLOSING [2536GM] AMM 32-31-58-000-001 and AMM 32-31-58-400-001.
(12) If the fault continues:
(a) Replace the BYPASS VALVE-NLG DOOR GROUND OPENING [2533GM] AMM 32-22-17-000-001 and AMM 32-22-17-400-001.
(13) If the fault continues:
(a) Replace the SAFETY VALVE-NLG DOOR CLOSING [2629GM] AMM 32-31-19-000-001 and AMM 32-31-19-400-001.
(14) If the fault continues:
(a) Replace the [41GA] AMM 32-31-34-000-001 and AMM 32-31-34-400-001.
(b) Replace the MANIFOLD ASSY-L/G AND DOOR SELECTOR VALVES [2524GM] AMM 32-31-31-000-001 and AMM 32-31-31-400-001.
(15) If the fault continues:
(a) Do the TSM task (Ref. TSM TASK 32-31-00-810-898).

5. Close-up
Subtask 32-31-00-942-059-A

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
