A. Test
(1) Use the procedure AMM 28-46-00-710-001 and do a test of the HI LVL lights, do not include Para. 4.B.
4. Fault Isolation(1) Use the procedure AMM 28-46-00-710-001 and do a test of the HI LVL lights, do not include Para. 4.B.
NOTE: The OPEN DEFUEL/XFR lamp (21QU) comes on when the TEST switch is set at LTS.
The OPEN DEFUEL/XFR indicator lamp (21QU):
The OPEN DEFUEL/XFR indicator lamp (21QU):
- 28VDC supply is from a different C/B
- switched ground uses the same contacts of SWITCH-TEST/HIGH/LTS (2QJ).
Subtask 28-46-00-810-081-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Procedure
(1) At the CTL PNL-REFUEL/DEFUEL (800VU), set and hold the TEST switch to LTS.
(2) If the HI LVL indicator lamps on the CTL PNL-REFUEL/DEFUEL (800VU) do not come on, Trouble-shoot those indicators as follows:
(a) A 28VDC supply is available at the free connector 4067VC-A, pin B.
(b) A ground is available at the free connector 4067VC-A, pin C while the TEST switch is set in the LTS position.
(7) If the 28VDC supply and the ground is available at the free connector as specified in step (6)(a) and (b):
(a) Replace the CTL PNL-REFUEL/DEFUEL (ACT) [801VU] AMM 28-25-58-000-001 and AMM 28-25-58-400-001.
1 If the fault continues, go to step (10).
(b) If due to airline operational conditions it is not possible to replace the CTL PNL-REFUEL/DEFUEL (ACT) (801VU) and internal Trouble-shooting is required, continue as follows:
1 Do a check of ASM 284601 and replace, if necessary:
4 Do the test given in Para. 3.A.
5 If the fault continues, go to step (10).
(8) If the 28VDC supply is not available in Step (6)(a):
(a) Do a check of the aircraft wiring ASM 284601 between the free connector 4067VC-A, pin B and the free connector 4023VC-A, pin W (28VDC supply line).
(b) Repair all the unserviceable wiring and connectors.
(c) Do the test given in Para. 3.A.
(d) If the fault continues, go to step (10).
(9) If the ground is not available in Step (6)(b):
(a) Do a check of the aircraft wiring ASM 284601 between the free connector 4067VC-A, pin C and the free connector 4023VC-A, pin X (ground line).
(b) Repair all the unserviceable wiring and connectors.
(c) Do the test given in Para. 3.A.
(d) If the fault continues, go to step (10).
(10) Replace the CTL PNL-REFUEL/DEFUEL [800VU] AMM 28-25-55-000-001 and AMM 28-25-55-400-001.
(11) If due to airline operational conditions it is not possible to replace the CTL PNL-REFUEL/DEFUEL (800VU) and internal Trouble-shooting is required, continue as follows:
(a) Remove the CTL PNL-REFUEL/DEFUEL (800VU) AMM 28-25-55-000-001.
(b) Do a check of ASM 282503 and replace, if necessary, theSWITCH-TEST/HIGH/LTS (2QJ), Part of 800VU .
(c) Do a check of ASM 282503 and repair, if necessary, the CTL PNL-REFUEL/DEFUEL (800VU) internal wiring as follows:
(1) At the CTL PNL-REFUEL/DEFUEL (800VU), set and hold the TEST switch to LTS.
(2) If the HI LVL indicator lamps on the CTL PNL-REFUEL/DEFUEL (800VU) do not come on, Trouble-shoot those indicators as follows:
- LEFT HI LVL Indicator Lamp Does Not Come On (Ref. TSM TASK 28-46-00-810-820)
- RIGHT HI LVL Indicator Lamp Does Not Come On (Ref. TSM TASK 28-46-00-810-821)
- CTR HI LVL Indicator Lamp Does Not Come On (Ref. TSM TASK 28-46-00-810-822).
- do Task (Ref. TSM TASK 28-46-00-810-826).
- replace the ACT 2 HI LVL indicator lamp .
- remove for access the CTL PNL-REFUEL/DEFUEL (ACT) (801VU) AMM 28-25-58-000-001.
