WARNING:
OBEY THE FUEL SAFETY PROCEDURES.
WARNING:
WHEN YOU DO WORK ON THE FUEL SYSTEM WIRING, YOU MUST USE TEST EQUIPMENT THAT IS APPROVED (REFER TO INTERNATIONAL OR NATIONAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR INTRINSICALLY SAFE TEST EQUIPMENT: EN50020, UL913 OR EQUIVALENT). TEST EQUIPMENT THAT IS NOT APPROVED CAN CAUSE FIRE OR AN EXPLOSION.
CAUTION:
DO NOT LET THE REFUEL PRESSURE BE MORE THAN THE MAXIMUM SAFE PRESSURE OF 50psi (3.45bar).

B. Test
(1) Make sure that you obey the steps in the pressure refuel with manual control AMM 12-11-28-650-004.
(5) If the FUEL LEVEL SENSING message,L(R) HI LEVEL SENSOR 17QJ1(2) is given:
(a) The applicable refuel valve opens and the refuel continues:
4. Fault Isolation(1) Make sure that you obey the steps in the pressure refuel with manual control AMM 12-11-28-650-004.
NOTE: A refuel valve will not open if the related tank is full of fuel. This is done to prevent a fuel spillage.
(2) Make sure that the C/Bs that follow are closed: - C/B-FUEL/HI/LVL/SUPPLY (1QJ) - supplies 28VDC to the FLSCU-1 and 2 high level sensor channels
- C/B-FUEL/RFL/DFL/SUPPLY (2QU) - supplies 28VDC to the refuel valves.
NOTE: The refuel valves (all) will not open if the 28VDC, 501PP FUELLING BUS is not powered. This is because the Fuel Level Sensing System (FLSS) high level channels (all) will give false WET outputs when they are not powered (de-energized condition).
(3) If during the test of the CTL PNL-REFUEL/DEFUEL (800VU), the HI LVL lights fail to operate as specified: - refer to, LOCAL WARNING INDICATORS that show and do the applicable trouble-shooting procedure.
(5) If the FUEL LEVEL SENSING message,
- do the procedure for L(R) High Level Sensor 17QJ1(2) Failure (Ref. TSM TASK 28-46-00-810-803) before you start more steps.
- do the procedure for C High Level Sensor 20QJ Failure (Ref. TSM TASK 28-46-00-810-805) before you start more steps.
- go to Para. 4.A.
- use the related manual plunger to attempt to continue the refuel as given in the procedure for Pressure Refuel without Electrical Power AMM 12-11-28-650-005.
(a) The applicable refuel valve opens and the refuel continues:
- go to Para. 4.B.
- go to Para. 4.C.
Subtask 28-25-00-810-051-A
A. Procedure - In Manual Refuel All Refuel Valves Fail To Open
