DO NOT LET THE REFUEL PRESSURE BE MORE THAN THE MAXIMUM SAFE PRESSURE OF 50psi (3.45bar).

A. Make sure that the steps in the pressure refuel with auto control AMM 12-11-28-650-003, are complied with.
4. Fault IsolationNOTE: The refuel valve will not open if the related tank is full of fuel.
Subtask 28-25-00-810-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Procedure
(1) If the fault continues:
(3) If the refuel system operates correctly with manual control:
(b) The FQIS STATUS page.
(4) Replace any LRUs listed on the FQIS STATUS page. Do the applicable troubleshooting procedure.
(5) Do the pressure refuel with auto control.
(6) If the fault continues:
(a) Set the MCDU to INPUT PARAMETERS page 3, (the bit position - state cross-reference).
(b) Examine the bit positions in the Table that follows:
1 Bit position - State Cross-reference Table:
(a) The ground/flight discrete input is set to ground.
(b) The refuel selected discrete is active. The logic for this, incorporated in the aircraft wiring, is condition 1_ or 2_ below:
1 Refuel panel door open and the MODE SELECT switch on the external refuel panel set to REFUEL.
(c) All the REFUEL VALVE switches are set to NORMAL.
(8) For an automatic refuel to start make that the conditions are as follows:
(a) Refuel bus power has been present for more than 7 seconds.
(b) Automatic refuel mode is active (see Para. 7).
(c) The displayed preselector FQ is 100kg (200lb) greater than the actual fuel quantity.
(9) If the fault continues replace the PRESELECTOR-FUEL QUANTITY, MULTI TANK [5QT] AMM 28-42-21-000-001 and AMM 28-42-21-400-001.
(10) Do the pressure refuel with auto control.
(11) If the fault continues replace the FQIC [3QT] AMM 28-42-34-000-001 and AMM 28-42-34-400-001>.
(12) Do the Pressure Refuel with Auto Control.
(13) Do a check /replace theRELAY-FQIC C/O SPLY (9QT) 103VU ASM 284203.
(14) Do a wiring check ASM 284203 of theaircraft wiring between the RELAY-FQIC C/O SPLY (9QT) 103VU terminal A2, and the FQIC (3QT) rack connector, contact 6D. .
(15) Repair all the unserviceable wiring and connectors.
(16) Go to Para. 3.A.
(17) Do a check ASM 284203/replace theRELAY-REFUEL/DEFUEL CTL PNL DOOR POSITION (14QU) 92VU. .
(18) Do a wiring check ASM 284203 of theaircraft wiring between the FQIC (3QT) rack connector B, contact 7D and the RELAY-REFUEL/DEFUEL CTL PNL DOOR POSITION (14QU), terminal C1. .
(19) Repair all the unserviceable wiring and connectors.

(6) If any of the LRUs that follow are shown, trouble shoot those LRU(s) before you start more steps:

(a) Set the MCDU to INPUT PARAMETERS page 3, (the bit position - state cross-reference).
(b) Examine the bit positions in the Table 1 that follows:
(9) For the automatic refuel mode to be active check the conditions that follow in conjunction with the Table 1 above or as directed:
(a) The ground/flight discrete input is set to ground:
1 Remove the FQIC (3QT) from its rack connector AMM 28-42-34-000-001.
2 With a multimeter check to see if the FQIC rack connect pin B05F is at ground potential.
3 If pin B05F is at ground potential reinstall the FQIC AMM 28-42-34-400-001.
4 If the pin B05F is not at ground potential do a wiring check of the:
6 Reinstall the FQIC (3QT) AMM 28-42-34-400-001.
(b) The refuel selected discrete is active. The logic for this, incorporated in the aircraft wiring, is condition 1_ or 2_ below:
1 Refuel panel door open and the MODE SELECT switch on the external refuel panel set to REFUEL.
(c) All the REFUEL VALVE switches are set to NORMAL.
(10) For an automatic refuel to start make that the conditions are as follows:
(a) Refuel bus power has been present for sufficient time to allow the high level sensors to settle in thier true states.
(b) Automatic refuel mode is active (see Para. 9).
(c) The displayed preselector FQ is 100kg (200lb) greater than the actual fuel quantity.
(11) If the fault continues replace the PRESELECTOR-FUEL QUANTITY, MULTI TANK [5QT] AMM 28-42-21-000-001 and AMM 28-42-21-400-001.
(12) Do the pressure refuel with auto control.
(13) If the fault continues replace the FQIC [3QT] AMM 28-42-34-000-001 and AMM 28-42-34-400-001>.
(14) Do the Pressure Refuel with Auto Control.
