A. Procedure
(1) The ON legend (white) does not come on
(a) Do the procedure for the operational test of the annunciator light test system in the cockpit AMM 33-14-00-710-001.
1 If the ON legend light does not come on, replace theON indicator light (lamp/filament/bulb) .
(b) If the fault continues:
1 Do a check ASM 282301 of the P/BSW-FUEL/X FEED [4QE] and if necessary replace it.
2 Do a check ESPM 2052210 of the aircraft wiring between the P/BSW-FUEL/X FEED (4QE) terminal C1 and the panel 40VU ground point ASM 282301 AWM 282301 and AWM 249107.
3 Repair all the unserviceable wiring and connectors ESPM 2053210.
(c) Do the test given in Para. 3.A.
(2) The OPEN legend (green) does not come on and the valve symbol shows amber cross-line on the ECAM FUEL page
(a) Do a check of the actuator crossfeed valve 5QE see/feel indicator to see if it shows open or closed.
(b) If the actuator crossfeed valve 5QE see/feel indicator:
(3) The OPEN legend (green) does not come on but the valve symbol shows green in-line on the ECAM FUEL page
(a) Do the procedure for the operational test of the annunciator light test system in the cockpit AMM 33-14-00-710-001.
1 If the OPEN legend light does not come on, replace theOPEN indicator light (lamp/filament/bulb) .
(b) If the fault continues:
1 Do a check ASM 282301 of the P/BSW-FUEL/X FEED [4QE] and if necessary replace it.
2 Replace the BOARD-ANN LT TEST & INTFC [6LP] AMM 33-14-33-000-001 and AMM 33-14-33-400-001.
3 Do a check ESPM 2052210 of the aircraft wiring ASM 281301 between:
(c) Do the test given in Para. 3.A.
(4) At the fuel panel (40VU), release (out) the P/BSW-FUEL/X FEED (4QE).
(a) Make sure that the P/BSW:
(5) Do the EIS stop procedure (ECAM only) AMM 31-60-00-860-002.
(6) If necessary, de-energize the aircraft electrical circuits AMM 24-41-00-862-002.
5. Close-up(1) The ON legend (white) does not come on
(a) Do the procedure for the operational test of the annunciator light test system in the cockpit AMM 33-14-00-710-001.
1 If the ON legend light does not come on, replace the
(b) If the fault continues:
- shows closed, do the procedure (Ref. TSM TASK 28-23-00-810-801)
- shows open, do step (c).
NOTE: This step is necessary because although the actuator crossfeed valve 5QE see/feel indicator has moved to the open position, the internal position indication microswitch (SHUT/OPEN contacts between pins D and E of connector 5QE-A) and/or the related wiring can be unserviceable.
(d) Do the test given in Para. 3.A. (3) The OPEN legend (green) does not come on but the valve symbol shows green in-line on the ECAM FUEL page
(a) Do the procedure for the operational test of the annunciator light test system in the cockpit AMM 33-14-00-710-001.
1 If the OPEN legend light does not come on, replace the
(b) If the fault continues:

(4) At the fuel panel (40VU), release (out) the P/BSW-FUEL/X FEED (4QE).
(a) Make sure that the P/BSW:
- ON legend is off
- OPEN legend is off.
(5) Do the EIS stop procedure (ECAM only) AMM 31-60-00-860-002.
(6) If necessary, de-energize the aircraft electrical circuits AMM 24-41-00-862-002.
