TSM TASK 27-30-00-810-848-A
Elevator Damping Test Not Possible
AMM 27-96-00-710-008
Operational Test of the Damping Measurement (Elevator)
AMM 27-96-00-740-001
BITE Test of the EFCS (Ground Scanning)
3. Fault Confirmation
Subtask 27-30-00-710-054-A
A. Not Applicable
4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 27-30-00-810-099-A
A. If the ELEV TEST NOT POSSIBLE message and BITE code 03FF are shown on the MCDU :
Subtask 27-30-00-810-102-A
B. If the ELEV TEST NOT POSSIBLE message and BITE code other than 03FF are shown on the MCDU :
   (1) Do the decoding procedure.
NOTE: The decoding procedure will give you the cause of the damping test failure and will help you to identify a failure message during the next step (Ground Scanning).
   (2) Do the BITE test of the EFCS (Ground Scanning) AMM 27-96-00-740-001.
  • Identify the failure message related to the cause you found during the decoding procedure, then
  • Do the associated trouble shooting procedure.
NOTE: As example, for the fault code 01FF by SEC 1, the state of R ELEV S1M AVAIL is 0 instead of 1. This signifies that SEC 1 MON (S1M) has detected a failure on the right elevator servocontrol (R ELEV). So it is necessary to search an elevator servo fault message detected by SEC 1 in the BITE test of the EFCS (Ground Scanning).
   (3) Do the operational test of the damping measurement (elevator) AMM 27-96-00-710-008.
