A. Test
(1) Do the CIDS BITE test through the CFDS AMM 23-73-00-740-005.

4. Fault Isolation
Subtask 23-73-00-810-536-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. If the test gives a different maintenance message, do the trouble shooting procedure related to the maintenance message.

B. If the CIDS BITE test gives the maintenance messages:

on the ECAM:

CIDS 1 + 2 FAULT

on the CFDS:

ALL DEU-B WI HANDSET
DIRECTOR (1 or 2)
CIDS MID BUS L
CIDS MID BUS R
DEU-B 300RHxx (all installed DEU-Bs)

replace the DIR-CIDS, that is shown on the CFDS, either DIR-CIDS, 1 [101RH] or DIR-CIDS, 2 [102RH] AMM 23-73-34-400-001 AMM 23-73-34-400-001.

Subtask 23-73-00-810-547-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

C. If the CIDS BITE test gives the maintenance messages:

on the ECAM:

CIDS 1 + 2 FAULT

on the CFDS:

ALL DEU-B WI HANDSET
DEU-B 300RHxx (all DEU-Bs with a connected handset)

replace all the DEU-B 300RHxx that are shown on the CFDS AMM 23-73-47-000-001 and AMM 23-73-47-400-001.

D. If the CIDS BITE test gives the maintenance messages:

on the ECAM:

CIDS 1 + 2 FAULT

on the CFDS:

ALL DEU-B WI HANDSET
CIDS MID BUS L
CIDS MID BUS R
DEU-B 300RHxx (all installed DEU-Bs)

do the trouble shooting procedures for CIDS MID BUS L (Ref. TSM TASK 23-73-00-810-836) and CIDS MID BUS R (Ref. TSM TASK 23-73-00-810-837).

(1) If the fault continues:

do a check and repair the wiring if necessary between:
CB 162RH and connector A/8 of all DEU-B mounts ASM 237310 and ASM 237311.

(a) If the fault continues:

replace all DEU-B 300RHxx AMM 23-73-47-000-001 and AMM 23-73-47-400-001.

E. Do the test given in Para. 3.A.
