(2) Do the CIDS1/DEU-B test through the CFDS/MCDU.

A. If the test gives a different maintenance message, do the trouble shooting procedure related to the maintenance message.
Subtask 23-73-00-810-142-F ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL B. If the CIDS1/CIDS BUS test gives the maintenance message CIDS MID BUS R:
Subtask 23-73-00-810-142-L ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL - Make sure that at least one cabin door is open.
- In the cockpit, on the overhead panel 25VU:
Make sure that the EMER EXIT LT switch (4WL) is in the OFF position. - Remove the DIR-CIDS (101RH) AMM 23-73-34-000-001.
- Close these CBs:
49VU: 157RH (G02) CIDS/DIR 2/ESS,
121VU:156RH (M07) CIDS/DIR 2/NORM. - Wait for approx. 120 s.
- Do the CIDS2/CIDS BUS test through the CFDS/MCDU.
- Install a new DIR-CIDS, 1 [101RH] AMM 23-73-34-400-001.
- Remove the DIR-CIDS, 2 [102RH] AMM 23-73-34-000-001.
- During the installation of the DIR-CIDS, 1 (101RH) do not close these CBs:
49VU: 157RH (G02) CIDS/DIR 2/ESS,
121VU:156RH (M07) CIDS/DIR 2/NORM. - Install the DIR-CIDS, 1 [101RH] AMM 23-73-34-400-001.
- Do the CIDS1/CIDS BUS test through the CFDS/MCDU.
- Install a new DIR-CIDS, 2 [102RH] AMM 23-73-34-400-001.
- Remove the DIR-CIDS, 1 [101RH] AMM 23-73-34-000-001.
- Open these CBs:
49VU: 153RH COM/CIDS/DEU B/ESS,
120RH: 162RH COM NAV/CIDS/DEU B/NORM. - Make sure that the resistance (line to line) at DIR-CIDS (101RH) and (102RH) connector AA/A14 and connector AA/B14 is between approx. 80 and 200 ohms ASM 237306.
- Make sure that the resistance (line to GND) is not less than 50 ohms (short circuit) between:
DIR-CIDS (101RH) and (102RH) connector AA/A14 and GND,
DIR-CIDS (101RH) and (102RH) connector AA/B14 and GND ASM 237306.
- Remove the DEU-B [300RH6] AMM 23-73-47-000-001.
- Install the DIR-CIDS (101RH) and DIR-CIDS (102RH) AMM 23-73-34-400-001.
- Close these CBs:
49VU: 153RH COM/CIDS/DEU B/ESS,
120RH: 162RH COM NAV/CIDS/DEU B/NORM. - Do the CIDS BITE test through the CFDS/MCDU AMM 23-73-00-740-005.
- Install a new DEU-B [300RH6] AMM 23-73-47-400-001.
- Install the removed DEU-B [300RH6] AMM 23-73-47-400-001.
- Do the steps 4. B. (5) (a) again for the subsequent DEU(s) until the maintenance message stops: ASM 237306.
DEU-B [300RH4]
- Remove the DEU-B [300RH6] AMM 23-73-47-000-001.
- Do a check for a short circuit again.
- Install a new DEU-B [300RH6] AMM 23-73-47-400-001.
- Disconnect the electrical connector 7247VC2 from the DEU mount 2015VU2 AMM 23-73-48-000-001.
- Do a check for a short circuit again.
- Install a new DEU mount 2015VU2 AMM 23-73-48-000-001 and AMM 23-73-48-400-001.
- Install the removed DEU-B [300RH6] AMM 23-73-47-400-001.
- Reconnect the electrical connector to the DEU mount 2015VU2 AMM 23-73-48-400-001.
- Remove the DEU-B [300RH4] AMM 23-73-47-000-001.
- Do a check for a short circuit again.
- b.1. If there is no short circuit:
- Install a new DEU-B [300RH4] AMM 23-73-47-400-001.
- b.2. If the fault continues:
- Disconnect the electrical connector 7201VC4 from the DEU mount 2011VU4 AMM 23-73-48-000-001.
- Do a check for a short circuit again.
- b.2.1. If there is no short circuit:
- Do a check for a short circuit at the disconnected connector 7201VC4 between pin 9 and GND (pin 11) and between pin 10 and GND (pin 11).
- b.2.1.1. If there is a short circuit:
- Repair the wiring between the DEU mount 2011VU4 and the DEU mount 2015VU2 ASM 237306.
- b.2.1.2. If there is no short circuit:
- Install a new DEU mount 2011VU4 AMM 23-73-48-400-001.
- b.2.2. If there is a short circuit:
- Install the removed DEU-B [300RH4] AMM 23-73-47-400-001.
- Reconnect the electrical connector to the DEU mount 2011VU4 AMM 23-73-48-400-001.
- Do the steps (4. B. (5) (b) 2 b) again for the subsequent DEU(s) and DEU mount(s) until the maintenance message stops: ASM 237306.
DEU mount 2011VU2 .
- disconnect the electrical connector 7247VC2 from the DEU mount 2015VU2 AMM 23-73-48-000-001.
- Make sure that the resistance (line to line) is not more than 200 ohms (open circuit) between:
DEU mount 2015VU2 pin A/1 and pin A/2.
- Install a new DEU mount 2015VU2 AMM 23-73-48-400-001.
- Reconnect the electrical connector to the DEU mount 2015VU2 AMM 23-73-48-400-001.
- Disconnect the electrical connector 7201VC2 from the DEU mount 2011VU2 AMM 23-73-48-000-001.
- Do a check of the wiring (continuity-check) between:
DIR-CIDS (101RH) connector AA/A14 and the connector 7201VC2 pin A/1,
DIR-CIDS (101RH) connector AA/B14 and the connector 7201VC2 pin A/2.
- Repair the wiring between the DIR-CIDS (101RH) and the connector 7201VC2 ASM 237306.
- Do a check of the wiring (continuity-check) between:
DEU mount 2011VU2 pin A/1 and pin A/9 ,
DEU mount 2011VU2 pin A/2 and pin A/10.
- Install a new DEU mount 2011VU2 AMM 23-73-48-000-001 and AMM 23-73-48-400-001.
- Reconnect the connector 7201VC2 to the DEU mount 2011VU2 AMM 23-73-48-400-001.
- Do the steps 4. B. (6) again for the subsequent DEU mounts until the maintenance message stops:
DIR-CIDS (101RH) and DEU mount 2011VU4 /connector 7201VC4,
DIR-CIDS (101RH) and DEU mount 2015VU2 /connector 7247VC2.
- Remove the DEU-B [300RH6] AMM 23-73-47-000-001.
- Do a check for a short circuit again.
- Install a new DEU-B [300RH6] AMM 23-73-47-400-001.
- Install the removed DEU-B [300RH6] AMM 23-73-47-400-001.
- Diconnect the electrical connector 7247VC2 from the DEU mount 2015VU2 ASM 237306.
- Do a check for a short circuit again.
- Reconnect the electrical connector to the DEU mount 2015VU2 AMM 23-73-48-400-001.
- Do the steps 4. B. (7) again for the subsequent DEU(s) and DEU mount(s) until the maintenance message stops: ASM 237306.
DEU-B [300RH4] and DEU mount 2011VU4 ,
DEU mount 2011VU2 .
- Do a check for a short circuit at the disconnected connector between the pins A/9 and A/10 ASM 237306.
- Repair the wiring between the related DEU mount 2011VUxx and the DEU mount 2015VUxx/2011VUxx ASM 237306.
- Install a new DEU mount 2015VU2 AMM 23-73-48-400-001.
B. If the test gives the maintenance message CIDS MID BUS R/ DIR1 (101RH):

- b.1. If there is no short circuit:
- install a new DEU-B [300RH6] AMM 23-73-47-400-001,
- Do the test given in Para. 3.
- b.2. If the fault continues:
- disconnect the electrical connector from the DEU CONNECTION BOX [308RH6] ,
- do a check for a short circuit again.
- b.2.1. If there is no short circuit:
- do a check for a short circuit at the disconnected connector between pin 9 and GND (pin 4) and between pin 10 and GND (pin 4).
- b.2.1.1. If there is a short circuit:
- repair the wiring between the DEU CONNECTION BOX [308RH6] and the DEU TERMINATION BOX [309RH2] ASM 237306.
- Do the test given in Para. 3.
- b.2.1.2. If there is no short circuit:
- install a new DEU CONNECTION BOX [308RH2] AMM 23-73-42-400-001
- Do the test given in Para. 3.
- b.2.2. If there is a short circuit:
- install the removed DEU-B [300RH6] AMM 23-73-47-400-001,
- reconnect the electrical connector to the DEU CONNECTION BOX [308RH6] ,
- do the steps (4. B. (5) (b) 2 b) again for the subsequent DEU(s) and DEU CONNECTION BOX(es) until the maintenance message stops: ASM 237306

- disconnect the electrical connector from the DEU TERMINATION BOX [309RH2] ,
- make sure that the resistance (line to line) is not more than 140 ohms (open circuit) between:

- install a new DEU TERMINATION BOX [309RH2] AMM 23-73-43-000-001 and AMM 23-73-43-400-001.
- Do the test given in Para. 3.
- reconnect the electrical connector to the DEU TERMINATION BOX [309RH2]
- disconnect the electrical connector from the DEU CONNECTION BOX [308RH2] .
- do a check of the wiring (continuity-check) between:
DIR-CIDS (101RH) connector AA/A14 and the DEU TERMINATION BOX connector pin A/2,
DIR-CIDS (101RH) connector AA/B14 and the DEU TERMINATION BOX connector pin A/1.
- repair the wiring between the DIR-CIDS (101RH) and the connector ASM 237306.
- Do the test given in Para. 3.
- do a check of the wiring (continuity-check) between:
DEU CONNECTION BOX [308RH2] pin A/1 and pin A/9 ,
DEU CONNECTION BOX [308RH2] pin A/2 and pin A/10.
- install a new DEU CONNECTION BOX [308RH2] AMM 23-73-42-000-001 and AMM 23-73-42-400-001.
- Do the test given in Para. 3.
- reconnect the connector to the DEU CONNECTION BOX [308RH2]
- do the steps 4. B. (6) again for the subsequent DEU CONNECTION/ TERMINATION BOX(es) until the maintenance message stops:
DIR-CIDS (101RH) and DEU CONNECTION BOX [308RH6] /connector,

- Do the test given in Para. 3.
- b.2. If the fault continues:
- disconnect the electrical connector from the DEU CONNECTION BOX [308RH6] ,
- do a check for a short circuit again.
- b.2.1. If there is no short circuit:
- do a check for a short circuit at the disconnected connector between pin 9 and GND (pin 4) and between pin 10 and GND (pin 4).
- b.2.1.1. If there is a short circuit:
- repair the wiring between the DEU CONNECTION BOX [308RH6] and the DEU TERMINATION BOX [309RH2] ASM 237306.

- disconnect the electrical connector from the DEU CONNECTION BOX [308RH2] .
- do a check of the wiring (continuity-check) between:
DIR-CIDS (101RH) connector AA/A14 and the DEU TERMINATION BOX connector pin A/2,
DIR-CIDS (101RH) connector AA/B14 and the DEU TERMINATION BOX connector pin A/1.
- repair the wiring between the DIR-CIDS (101RH) and the connector ASM 237306.
- Do the test given in Para. 3.
- do a check of the wiring (continuity-check) between:
DEU CONNECTION BOX [308RH2] pin A/1 and pin A/9 ,
DEU CONNECTION BOX [308RH2] pin A/2 and pin A/10.
- install a new DEU CONNECTION BOX [308RH2] AMM 23-73-42-000-001 and AMM 23-73-42-400-001.
- Do the test given in Para. 3.
- reconnect the connector to the DEU CONNECTION BOX [308RH2]
- do the steps 4. B. (6) again for the subsequent DEU CONNECTION/ TERMINATION BOX(es) until the maintenance message stops:
DIR-CIDS (101RH) and DEU CONNECTION BOX [308RH6] /connector,
DIR-CIDS (101RH) and DEU TERMINATION BOX [309RH2] /connector.
- remove the DEU-B [300RH8] AMM 23-73-47-000-001,
- do a check for a short circuit again.
- install a new DEU-B [300RH8] AMM 23-73-47-400-001,
