Subtask 79-21-10-860-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 79-21-10-010-056-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.

Subtask 79-21-10-420-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Lube Supply and/or Common Scavenge Filters:
(2) Ensure groove of cover is clean and install new AIPC 79-21-10-01-110 PACKING (30) lightly coated with engine oil (Material No.CP2442) .
(3) Ensure that drain plug shoulder is clean and install new AIPC 79-21-10-01-090 O-RING (20) lightly coated with engine oil (Material No.CP2442) , onto drain plug shoulder.
(4) Check position of clogging indicator and, if necessary, reset as follows:
(a) Remove lockwire. Loosen and remove knurled coupling nut and transparent plug.
(b) Reset by pushing in clogging indicator with thumb.
(c) Lightly coat threads of knurled coupling nut with engine oil (Material No.CP2442) . Hand-tighten knurled coupling nut and transparent plug and safety withCP8001 lockwire 0.032 in. (0.8 mm) dia. or CP8002 lockwire 0.032 in. (0.8 mm) dia .
(5) Install filter and cover.
(b) Install new AIPC 79-21-10-01-140 COMMON SCAVENGE FILTER (50) into housing.
(c) Place cover in position. Gently push cover into housing until it contacts filter housing flanges.
Subtask 79-21-10-640-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL CAUTION:
DO NOT FORGET TO INSTALL AN O-RING. THE ABSENCE OF THE O-RING CAN CAUSE IMPORTANT OIL LOSSES DURING ENGINE OPERATION WITH POSSIBLE ENGINE FAILURE.
(1) Install new AIPC 79-21-10-01-160 PACKING (10) lightly coated with engine oil (Material No.CP2442) into groove on upper part of filter (40) (50) . (2) Ensure groove of cover is clean and install new AIPC 79-21-10-01-110 PACKING (30) lightly coated with engine oil (Material No.CP2442) .
(3) Ensure that drain plug shoulder is clean and install new AIPC 79-21-10-01-090 O-RING (20) lightly coated with engine oil (Material No.CP2442) , onto drain plug shoulder.
(4) Check position of clogging indicator and, if necessary, reset as follows:
(a) Remove lockwire. Loosen and remove knurled coupling nut and transparent plug.
(b) Reset by pushing in clogging indicator with thumb.
(c) Lightly coat threads of knurled coupling nut with engine oil (Material No.CP2442) . Hand-tighten knurled coupling nut and transparent plug and safety with

CAUTION:
ROTATION OF COVER MAY CAUSE DAMAGE TO FILTER.
CAUTION:
INSTALLATION OF COVER WITHOUT O-RING CAN RESULT IN EXCESSIVE OIL LOSS DURING ENGINE OPERATION, WITH POSSIBLE ENGINE FAILURE.
CAUTION:
THE OIL SUPPLY FILTER HAS A LARGER DIAMETER AND SHORTER LENGHT THAN THE OIL SCAVENGE FILTER.
(a) Install new AIPC 79-21-10-01-150 LUBE SUPPLY FILTER (40) into housing. (b) Install new AIPC 79-21-10-01-140 COMMON SCAVENGE FILTER (50) into housing.
(c) Place cover in position. Gently push cover into housing until it contacts filter housing flanges.
B. Spray the inner edges of coupling clamp with molykote G rapid (Material No.CP2104) .
(1) Coat bolt threads of coupling clamp with graphite grease (Material No.CP2101) .
(2) Install coupling clamp and TORQUE bolt to between 80 and 70 lbf.in (0.90 and 0.79 m.daN )

(3) Install the drain plug.
and wirelock with CP8001 lockwire 0.032 in. (0.8 mm) dia. or CP8002 lockwire 0.032 in. (0.8 mm) dia .
(4) Remove container from under the filter.
Subtask 79-21-10-710-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL 5. Close-up(1) Coat bolt threads of coupling clamp with graphite grease (Material No.CP2101) .
(2) Install coupling clamp and TORQUE bolt to between 80 and 70 lbf.in (0.90 and 0.79 m.daN )
. (3) Install the drain plug.
CAUTION:
DO NOT FORGET TO INSTALL AN O-RING. THE ABSENCE OF THE O-RING CAN CAUSE IMPORTANT OIL LOSSES DURING ENGINE OPERATION WITH POSSIBLE ENGINE FAILURE.
(a) TORQUE plug to between 93 and 85 lbf.in (1.05 and 0.96 m.daN )
and wirelock with (4) Remove container from under the filter.
