Subtask 79-20-00-860-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 79-20-00-010-059-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.

B. Get Access

A. Lubricate the AIPC 79-20-00-01-230 PACKING (10) and AIPC 79-20-00-01-230 PACKING (65) with RTV 732 (Material No.CP2242)
Subtask 79-20-00-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL B. Installation of the Oil System Hoses on the Lubrication Units and the DP Switch
(1) Remove the protective covers from the hose couplings, the DP switch and the lubrication unit.
(2) Put the packings on the restrictor unions (20) and install the unions (20) on the lubrication unit.
(3) TORQUE the unions (20) to between 100 and 90 lbf.in (1.13 and 1.02 m.daN )

(4) Put the packings (10) on the reducer (5) and union (15) and install the reducer and union on the DP switch.
(5) TORQUE the reducer and union to between 135 and 125 lbf.in (1.53 and 1.41 m.daN )
.
(6) Connect the hoses (25) and (30) to the fittings on the DP switch and the lubrication unit.
(7) TORQUE the couplings on the hose (30) to between 100 and 90 lbf.in (1.13 and 1.02 m.daN )

Subtask 79-20-00-420-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the protective covers from the hose couplings, the DP switch and the lubrication unit.
(2) Put the packings on the restrictor unions (20) and install the unions (20) on the lubrication unit.
(3) TORQUE the unions (20) to between 100 and 90 lbf.in (1.13 and 1.02 m.daN )
. (4) Put the packings (10) on the reducer (5) and union (15) and install the reducer and union on the DP switch.
(5) TORQUE the reducer and union to between 135 and 125 lbf.in (1.53 and 1.41 m.daN )
. (6) Connect the hoses (25) and (30) to the fittings on the DP switch and the lubrication unit.
(7) TORQUE the couplings on the hose (30) to between 100 and 90 lbf.in (1.13 and 1.02 m.daN )
. NOTE: Use a second wrench to hold the fittings on the DP switch and the lubrication unit when you torque the coupling nuts on the hose.
(8) TORQUE the coupling that attaches the hose (25) to the DP switch to between 180 and 155 lbf.in (2.03 and 1.75 m.daN )
. NOTE: Use a second wrench to hold the fitting on the DP switch when you torque the coupling nut on the hose.
(9) TORQUE the coupling that attaches the hose (25) to the lubrication unit to between 120 and 100 lbf.in (1.36 and 1.13 m.daN )
. NOTE: Use a second wrench to hold the fitting on the lubrication unit when you torque the coupling nut on the hose.
C. Installation of the Tee to Oil Tank Hose Assembly.
(1) Remove the protective covers from the hose couplings, the tee and the oil tank.
(2) Connect the hose assembly (95) to the oil tank and the tee (90).
(3) TORQUE the couplings on the tube (95) to between 160 and 150 lbf.in (1.81 and 1.70 m.daN )

Subtask 79-20-00-420-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the protective covers from the hose couplings, the tee and the oil tank.
(2) Connect the hose assembly (95) to the oil tank and the tee (90).
(3) TORQUE the couplings on the tube (95) to between 160 and 150 lbf.in (1.81 and 1.70 m.daN )
. NOTE: Use a second wrench to hold the tee and the union on the oil tank when you torque the coupling nuts on the hoses.
D. Installation of the Oil Pressure Transmitter to Tee Tube Assembly.
(1) Remove the protective covers from the tube, the tee and the oil pressure transmitter.
(2) Connect the tube (115) to the tee (90).
(3) Connect the tube (115) to the oil pressure transmitter (75).
(4) TORQUE the coupling nuts on the tube (115) to between 160 and 150 lbf.in (1.81 and 1.70 m.daN )

(6) TORQUE the nut (10) to between 70 and 50 lbf.in (0.79 and 0.57 m.daN )
.
Subtask 79-20-00-420-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the protective covers from the tube, the tee and the oil pressure transmitter.
(2) Connect the tube (115) to the tee (90).
(3) Connect the tube (115) to the oil pressure transmitter (75).
(4) TORQUE the coupling nuts on the tube (115) to between 160 and 150 lbf.in (1.81 and 1.70 m.daN )
. NOTE: Use a second wrench to hold the tee and the union on the oil pressure transmitter when you torque the coupling nuts on the tube.
(5) Put the clamp (40) on the tube (115). Install the bolt (100), washer (110) and nut (10) that attach the clamp (40) to the other clamp (40) on the tube (125). (6) TORQUE the nut (10) to between 70 and 50 lbf.in (0.79 and 0.57 m.daN )
. E. Installation of the DP Switch to Tee Tube Assembly.
(1) Remove the protective covers from the tube, the tee and the DP switch.
(2) Connect the tube (125) to the tee (90).
(3) Connect the tube (125) to the DP switch (120).
(4) TORQUE the coupling nuts on the tube (125) to between 160 and 150 lbf.in (1.81 and 1.70 m.daN )

(6) TORQUE the nut (10) to between 70 and 50 lbf.in (0.79 and 0.57 m.daN )
.

(7) Install the LP bootie (140) on the tube (125).
(8) If removed, install the housing (135) on the DP switch (120).
(9) WrapCP8002 lockwire 0.032 in. (0.8 mm) dia around the LP bootie (140) and the housing (135) to hold them in place.

Subtask 79-20-00-420-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the protective covers from the tube, the tee and the DP switch.
(2) Connect the tube (125) to the tee (90).
(3) Connect the tube (125) to the DP switch (120).
(4) TORQUE the coupling nuts on the tube (125) to between 160 and 150 lbf.in (1.81 and 1.70 m.daN )
. NOTE: Use a second wrench to hold the tee and the union on the DP switch when you torque the coupling nuts on the tube.
(5) Put the clamp (40) on the tube (125). Install the bolt (100), washer (110) and nut (10) that attach the clamp (40) to the other clamp (40) on the tube (115). (6) TORQUE the nut (10) to between 70 and 50 lbf.in (0.79 and 0.57 m.daN )

(7) Install the LP bootie (140) on the tube (125).
(8) If removed, install the housing (135) on the DP switch (120).
(9) Wrap

F. Installation of the tee to DP Switch Tube Assembly.
(1) Remove the protective covers from the tube, the tee and the DP switch.
(2) Connect the tube (15) to the tee (20).
(3) Connect the tube (15) to the DP switch (120).
(4) TORQUE the coupling nuts on the tube (15) to between 160 and 150 lbf.in (1.81 and 1.70 m.daN )

(6) TORQUE the nut (10) to between 70 and 50 lbf.in (0.79 and 0.57 m.daN )
.

(7) Install the HP bootie (130) on the tube (15).
(8) If removed, install the housing (135) on the DP switch (120).
(9) WrapCP8002 lockwire 0.032 in. (0.8 mm) dia around the LP bootie (140) and the housing (135) to hold them in place.

Subtask 79-20-00-420-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the protective covers from the tube, the tee and the DP switch.
(2) Connect the tube (15) to the tee (20).
(3) Connect the tube (15) to the DP switch (120).
(4) TORQUE the coupling nuts on the tube (15) to between 160 and 150 lbf.in (1.81 and 1.70 m.daN )
. NOTE: Use a second wrench to hold the tee and the union on the DP switch when you torque the coupling nuts on the tube.
(5) Put the clamp (40) on the tube (15). Install the bolt (60), washer (5) and nut (10) that attach the clamp (40) to the bracket at engine flange Sta.185 (G). (6) TORQUE the nut (10) to between 70 and 50 lbf.in (0.79 and 0.57 m.daN )

(7) Install the HP bootie (130) on the tube (15).
(8) If removed, install the housing (135) on the DP switch (120).
(9) Wrap

G. Installation of the Tee to Oil Pressure Transmitter Tube Assembly.
(1) Remove the protective covers from the tube, the tee and the oil pressure transmitter.
(2) Connect the tube (25) to the tee (20).
(3) Connect the tube (25) to the oil pressure transmitter (75).
(4) TORQUE the coupling nuts on the tube (25) to between 160 and 150 lbf.in (1.81 and 1.70 m.daN )

Subtask 79-20-00-420-056-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the protective covers from the tube, the tee and the oil pressure transmitter.
(2) Connect the tube (25) to the tee (20).
(3) Connect the tube (25) to the oil pressure transmitter (75).
(4) TORQUE the coupling nuts on the tube (25) to between 160 and 150 lbf.in (1.81 and 1.70 m.daN )
. NOTE: Use a second wrench to hold the tee and the union on the oil pressure transmitter when you torque the coupling nuts on the tube.
H. Installation of the Tee to Elbow Tube Assembly.
(1) Remove the protective covers from the tube, the tee and the union on the oil supply pressure port.
(2) Put a new packing (65) on the union (70). Install the union (70) on the oil supply pressure port.
(3) TORQUE the union (70) to between 100 and 90 lbf.in (1.13 and 1.02 m.daN )
.
(4) Connect the tube (30) to the tee (20).
(5) Connect the tube (30) to the union (70) on the oil supply pressure port.
(6) TORQUE the coupling nuts on the tube (30) to between 160 and 150 lbf.in (1.81 and 1.70 m.daN )
.
(8) Put the clamp (45) on the tube (30). Install the bolt (35), washer (50) and nut (55) that attach the clamp (45) to the clamp (45) on the fuel tube.
(9) TORQUE the nuts (10) and (55) to between 70 and 50 lbf.in (0.79 and 0.57 m.daN )
.
5. Close-up(1) Remove the protective covers from the tube, the tee and the union on the oil supply pressure port.
(2) Put a new packing (65) on the union (70). Install the union (70) on the oil supply pressure port.
(3) TORQUE the union (70) to between 100 and 90 lbf.in (1.13 and 1.02 m.daN )
. (4) Connect the tube (30) to the tee (20).
(5) Connect the tube (30) to the union (70) on the oil supply pressure port.
(6) TORQUE the coupling nuts on the tube (30) to between 160 and 150 lbf.in (1.81 and 1.70 m.daN )
. NOTE: Use a second wrench to hold the tee and the union on the oil supply pressure port when you torque the coupling nuts on the tube.
(7) Put the clamp (40) on the tube (30). Install the bolt (60), washer (5) and nut (10) that attach the clamp (40) to the engine bracket. (8) Put the clamp (45) on the tube (30). Install the bolt (35), washer (50) and nut (55) that attach the clamp (45) to the clamp (45) on the fuel tube.
(9) TORQUE the nuts (10) and (55) to between 70 and 50 lbf.in (0.79 and 0.57 m.daN )

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the left fan cowl door (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-040):

(3) Remove the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT)
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the left fan cowl door (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-040):
(a) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)

(3) Remove the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT)
