Subtask 79-20-00-941-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 79-20-00-010-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
B. Get Access
(1) Open the left fan cowl door (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040):
(a) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)

(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) in position.
4. Procedure(1) Open the left fan cowl door (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040):
(a) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)

(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) in position.
Subtask 79-20-00-020-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Oil System Hoses from the Differential Pressure Switch.
(1) Put a container below the differential pressure switch.
(2) Disconnect the hoses (25) and (30) from the differential pressure (DP) switch and let the oil drain.
(4) Disconnect the hoses (25) and (30) from the lubrication unit.
(5) Remove the restrictor unions (20) and packings (10) from the lubrication unit. Discard the packings.
(7) Remove the hoses (25) and (30) from the engine.
Subtask 79-20-00-020-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put a container below the differential pressure switch.
(2) Disconnect the hoses (25) and (30) from the differential pressure (DP) switch and let the oil drain.
NOTE: Use a second wrench to hold the union and/or reducer on the DP switch when you loosen the coupling nuts on the hoses (25) and (30).
(3) Remove the reducer (5), the union (15) and the packings (10) from the DP switch. Discard the packings. (4) Disconnect the hoses (25) and (30) from the lubrication unit.
(5) Remove the restrictor unions (20) and packings (10) from the lubrication unit. Discard the packings.
NOTE: Use a second wrench to hold the restrictor unions on the lubrication unit when you loosen the coupling nuts on the hoses (25) and (30).
(6) Put protective covers on the two ends of the hoses, the DP switch and the lubrication unit. (7) Remove the hoses (25) and (30) from the engine.
B. Remove the Tee to Oil Tank Hose Assembly.
(1) Put a container below the oil tank hose assembly (95).
(2) Disconnect the hose (95) from the oil tank and let the oil drain into the container.
(5) Remove the hose (95) from the engine.
Subtask 79-20-00-020-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put a container below the oil tank hose assembly (95).
(2) Disconnect the hose (95) from the oil tank and let the oil drain into the container.
NOTE: Use a second wrench to hold the fittings on the oil tank when you loosen the coupling nuts on the hose (95).
(3) Disconnect the hose (95) from the tee (90). NOTE: Use a second wrench to hold the tee when you loosen the coupling nuts on the hose (95).
(4) Put protective covers on the tee, the fitting on the oil tank and the two ends of the hose (95). (5) Remove the hose (95) from the engine.
C. Remove the Oil Transmitter to Tee Tube Assembly.
(1) Put a container below the tube (115) where it connects to the tee at engine flange Sta. 185 (G).
(2) Remove the bolt (100), washer (110), nut (10) and clamp (40) that attach the tube (115) to the tube (125).
(3) Disconnect the tube (115) from the tee (90) and let the fluid drain into the container.
(6) Remove the tube (125) from the engine.
Subtask 79-20-00-020-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put a container below the tube (115) where it connects to the tee at engine flange Sta. 185 (G).
(2) Remove the bolt (100), washer (110), nut (10) and clamp (40) that attach the tube (115) to the tube (125).
(3) Disconnect the tube (115) from the tee (90) and let the fluid drain into the container.
NOTE: Use a second wrench to hold the tee when you loosen the coupling nuts on the tube (115).
(4) Disconnect the tube (115) from the oil pressure transmitter (75). NOTE: Use a second wrench to hold the union on the oil pressure transmitter when you loosen the coupling nuts on the tube (115).
(5) Put protective covers on the tee (90), the union on the oil pressure transmitter (75) and the two ends of the tube (115). (6) Remove the tube (125) from the engine.
D. Remove the DP Switch to Tee Tube Assembly.
(1) Put a container below the tube (125) where it connects to the tee at engine flange Sta. 185 (G).
(2) Remove the bolt (100), washer (110), nut (10) and clamp (40) that attach the tube (30) to the tube (115).

(3) If necessary, remove the housing (135) from the DP switch (120).
(4) Cut the lockwire and remove the LP bootie (140) from the tube (125).

(5) Disconnect the tube (125) from the tee (90) and let the fluid drain into the container.
(8) Put protective covers on the tee (90), the union on the DP switch and the two ends of the tube (125).
(9) Remove the tube (125) from the engine.
Subtask 79-20-00-020-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put a container below the tube (125) where it connects to the tee at engine flange Sta. 185 (G).
(2) Remove the bolt (100), washer (110), nut (10) and clamp (40) that attach the tube (30) to the tube (115).

(3) If necessary, remove the housing (135) from the DP switch (120).
(4) Cut the lockwire and remove the LP bootie (140) from the tube (125).

(5) Disconnect the tube (125) from the tee (90) and let the fluid drain into the container.
NOTE: Use a second wrench to hold the nut on the tee when you loosen the coupling nuts on the tube (125).
(6) Disconnect the tube (125) from the DP switch (120). NOTE: Use a second wrench to hold the unions on the DP switch when you loosen the coupling nuts on the tube (120).
(7) Remove the nut (80) and the washer (85) from the tee (90). (8) Put protective covers on the tee (90), the union on the DP switch and the two ends of the tube (125).
(9) Remove the tube (125) from the engine.
E. Remove the Tee to Differential Pressure Switch Tube.
(1) Put a container below the tube (15) where it connects to the differential pressure (DP) switch (120).
(2) Remove the bolt (60), washer (5), nut (10) and clamp (40) that attach the tube (15) to the bracket at engine flange Sta. 185 (G).

(3) If necessary, remove the housing (135) from the DP switch (120).
(4) Cut the lockwire and remove the HP bootie (130) from the tube (15).

(5) Disconnect the tube (15) from the DP switch (120) and let the oil drain.
(8) Remove the tube (15) from the engine.
Subtask 79-20-00-020-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put a container below the tube (15) where it connects to the differential pressure (DP) switch (120).
(2) Remove the bolt (60), washer (5), nut (10) and clamp (40) that attach the tube (15) to the bracket at engine flange Sta. 185 (G).

(3) If necessary, remove the housing (135) from the DP switch (120).
(4) Cut the lockwire and remove the HP bootie (130) from the tube (15).

(5) Disconnect the tube (15) from the DP switch (120) and let the oil drain.
NOTE: Use a second wrench to hold the union on the DP switch when you loosen the coupling nuts on the tube (15).
(6) Disconnect the tube (15) from the tee (20). NOTE: Use a second wrench to hold the tee fitting when you loosen the coupling nuts on the tube (15).
(7) Put protective covers on the tee, the union on the DP switch and the two ends of the tube (15). (8) Remove the tube (15) from the engine.
F. Remove the Tee to Oil transmitter Tube Assembly.
(1) Put a container below the tube (25) where it connects to the union on the oil pressure transmitter (75).
(2) Disconnect the tube (25) from the union on the oil pressure transmitter and let the fluid drain into the container.
(5) Remove the tube (25) from the engine.
Subtask 79-20-00-020-056-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put a container below the tube (25) where it connects to the union on the oil pressure transmitter (75).
(2) Disconnect the tube (25) from the union on the oil pressure transmitter and let the fluid drain into the container.
NOTE: Use a second wrench to hold the union on the oil pressure transmitter when you loosen the coupling nuts on the tube (25).
(3) Disconnect the tube (25) from the tee (20). NOTE: Use a second wrench to hold the tee fitting when you loosen the coupling nuts on the tube (25).
(4) Put protective covers on the tee, the union on the oil pressure transmitter and the two ends of the tube (25). (5) Remove the tube (25) from the engine.
G. Remove the Tee to Elbow Tube Assembly.
(1) Put a container below the tube (30) where it connects to the union at the oil supply pressure port.
(2) Remove the bolt (60), washer (5), nut (10) and clamp (40) that attach the tube (30) to the engine bracket.
(3) Remove the bolt (35), washer (50), nut (55) and clamp (45) that attach the tube (30) to the fuel tube.
(4) Disconnect the tube (30) from the union at the oil supply pressure port and let the fluid drain into the container.
(7) Put protective covers on the tee, the union, the pressure port and the two ends of the tube (30).
(8) Remove the tube (30) from the engine.
(1) Put a container below the tube (30) where it connects to the union at the oil supply pressure port.
(2) Remove the bolt (60), washer (5), nut (10) and clamp (40) that attach the tube (30) to the engine bracket.
(3) Remove the bolt (35), washer (50), nut (55) and clamp (45) that attach the tube (30) to the fuel tube.
(4) Disconnect the tube (30) from the union at the oil supply pressure port and let the fluid drain into the container.
NOTE: Use a second wrench to hold the union on the elbow when you loosen the coupling nuts on the tube (30).
(5) Disconnect the tube (30) from the tee (20). NOTE: Use a second wrench to hold the tee fitting when you loosen the coupling nuts on the tube (30).
(6) Remove the union (70) and the packing (65) from the elbow. Discard the packing (65). (7) Put protective covers on the tee, the union, the pressure port and the two ends of the tube (30).
(8) Remove the tube (30) from the engine.
