Subtask 79-00-00-941-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 79-00-00-010-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.

B. Get Access
(1) Open the fan cowl doors: (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040)

(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M (3 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position.
4. Procedure(1) Open the fan cowl doors: (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040)

(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M (3 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position.
Subtask 79-00-00-280-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Check of the Antisiphon Assembly.
(1) Disconnect the coupling nut (10) of the antisiphon tube (20) from the forward sump oil supply line.
(2) Disconnect
Keep the antisiphon tube (20).
(3) Blow, with compressed air, into the antisiphon tube (20) to make sure that there is no blockage.
(4) Loosen the 4 attachment bolts (60) of the lubrication unit supply line (from antisiphon assembly) sufficiently to allow air passage.
(5) Blow, with compressed air, through the nipple (40) to make sure that the restrictor is free of blockage.
(6) If the restrictor is blocked, remove the lockwire and remove the nipple (40). Remove and discard the O-ring (50).
(7) Clean the restrictor of the antisiphon assembly.
(8) Install the nipple on the antisiphon assembly as follows.
(a) Lubricate a new AIPC 79-00-00-05-210 O-RING (50) with engine oil (Material No.CP2442) . Install the O-ring (50) on the nipple (40).
(b) Install the nipple (40) on the antisiphon assembly. TORQUE to between 150 and 135 lbf.in (1.70 and 1.53 m.daN )
. Safety with a CP8001 lockwire 0.032 in. (0.8 mm) dia. or with a CP8002 lockwire 0.032 in. (0.8 mm) dia .
(9) Attach the lubrication unit supply line to the forward flange connection of the antisiphon assembly with the 4 bolts (60) TORQUE the bolts to between 50 and 45 lbf.in (0.57 and 0.51 m.daN )

(10) Connect the antisiphon tube (20) to the nipple (40) of the antisiphon assembly and to the forward sump oil supply line. TORQUE the coupling nuts (10) and (30) to between 150 and 135 lbf.in (1.70 and 1.53 m.daN )
.
Subtask 79-00-00-869-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Disconnect the coupling nut (10) of the antisiphon tube (20) from the forward sump oil supply line.
(2) Disconnect
CAUTION:
USE 2 WRENCHES TO REMOVE/INSTALL THE TUBE UNION NUT: ONE TO HOLD THE FITTING, THE OTHER TO LOOSE/TORQUE THE NUT. OTHERWISE, DAMAGE TO THE HARDWARE CAN OCCUR.
(a) Disconnect the coupling nut (30) of the antisiphon tube (20) from the nipple (40) of the antisiphon assembly. Keep the antisiphon tube (20).
(3) Blow, with compressed air, into the antisiphon tube (20) to make sure that there is no blockage.
(4) Loosen the 4 attachment bolts (60) of the lubrication unit supply line (from antisiphon assembly) sufficiently to allow air passage.
(5) Blow, with compressed air, through the nipple (40) to make sure that the restrictor is free of blockage.
(6) If the restrictor is blocked, remove the lockwire and remove the nipple (40). Remove and discard the O-ring (50).
(7) Clean the restrictor of the antisiphon assembly.
(8) Install the nipple on the antisiphon assembly as follows.
(a) Lubricate a new AIPC 79-00-00-05-210 O-RING (50) with engine oil (Material No.CP2442) . Install the O-ring (50) on the nipple (40).
(b) Install the nipple (40) on the antisiphon assembly. TORQUE to between 150 and 135 lbf.in (1.70 and 1.53 m.daN )
. Safety with a (9) Attach the lubrication unit supply line to the forward flange connection of the antisiphon assembly with the 4 bolts (60) TORQUE the bolts to between 50 and 45 lbf.in (0.57 and 0.51 m.daN )
. (10) Connect the antisiphon tube (20) to the nipple (40) of the antisiphon assembly and to the forward sump oil supply line. TORQUE the coupling nuts (10) and (30) to between 150 and 135 lbf.in (1.70 and 1.53 m.daN )
. B. Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
Subtask 79-00-00-942-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL C. Close Access
(1) Remove the access platform(s).
(2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
Subtask 79-00-00-710-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the access platform(s).
(2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
D. Do a minimum idle check (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-006) and do a check for leaks (Ref. AMM TASK 79-00-00-210-005).
