A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

B. Get Access
(1) Open the fan cowls (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-010):

(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position.

(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position.
C. Deactivate the thrust:
4. ProcedureWARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE THRUST REVERSER HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT (HCU) IS DEACTIVATED BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON OR AROUND THE THRUST REVERSER. IF THE HCU IS NOT DEACTIVATED, THERE IS A RISK OF UNWANTED THRUST REVERSER OPERATION WHICH CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Deactivate the thrust reverser Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-012). Subtask 78-32-77-020-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Disconnect the electrical connectors
(1) Disconnect the 904P connector (3) of the right C-Duct electrical harness (1) from the receptacle on the locking actuator (2) (detail E).
(2) Disconnect the 900P connector (6) from the 900J receptacle (10) of the right C-Duct electrical harness (Detail G).
(3) Disconnect the 902P connector (5) of the right C-Duct electrical harness from the receptacle on the non-locking actuator (4) (Detail F).
Subtask 78-32-77-020-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Disconnect the 904P connector (3) of the right C-Duct electrical harness (1) from the receptacle on the locking actuator (2) (detail E).
(2) Disconnect the 900P connector (6) from the 900J receptacle (10) of the right C-Duct electrical harness (Detail G).
(3) Disconnect the 902P connector (5) of the right C-Duct electrical harness from the receptacle on the non-locking actuator (4) (Detail F).
B. Disassemble the electrical harness from the lower hydraulic tube
(Detail J).
(1) Install CAP - BLANKING over the connectors and their receptacles.
(2) Rework of the thrust reverser wiring harness installation

(3) Remove the nut (27), the washer (22), the screw (23) and the clamps (21) which attach the right C-duct electrical harness (3) to the lower hydraulic tube (28) near the non-locking actuator.
Subtask 78-32-77-020-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (Detail J).
(1) Install CAP - BLANKING over the connectors and their receptacles.
(2) Rework of the thrust reverser wiring harness installation

(3) Remove the nut (27), the washer (22), the screw (23) and the clamps (21) which attach the right C-duct electrical harness (3) to the lower hydraulic tube (28) near the non-locking actuator.
C. Remove the right C-Duct electrical harness
(1) Remove the nuts (7) , the washers (8) and the screws (11) which attach the 900J receptacle (10) to the bracket (9) (Detail G).
(2) At seven positions, remove the nuts (19), the washers (14), the screws (13) and the clamps (12) which attach the right C-duct electrical harness (1) to the C-duct (Detail D).
(3) At two positions, remove the screws (13), the washers (14), the clamps (12) and the spacers (20) which attach the right C-Duct electrical harness to the brackets (Detail B).
(4) Remove the nuts (19), the screws (17), the washers (14), the spacers (15) and the clamps (16) which attach the right C-Duct electrical harness (1) and the lower hydraulic tube (18) to the brackets on both sides of the non-locking actuator
(5) At two positions, remove the nuts (27), the washers (22), the screws (23) and the clamps (21) which attach the right C-duct electrical harness to the bracket (Detail H).
(6) Remove the right C-duct electrical harness from the C-duct.
(1) Remove the nuts (7) , the washers (8) and the screws (11) which attach the 900J receptacle (10) to the bracket (9) (Detail G).
(2) At seven positions, remove the nuts (19), the washers (14), the screws (13) and the clamps (12) which attach the right C-duct electrical harness (1) to the C-duct (Detail D).
(3) At two positions, remove the screws (13), the washers (14), the clamps (12) and the spacers (20) which attach the right C-Duct electrical harness to the brackets (Detail B).
(4) Remove the nuts (19), the screws (17), the washers (14), the spacers (15) and the clamps (16) which attach the right C-Duct electrical harness (1) and the lower hydraulic tube (18) to the brackets on both sides of the non-locking actuator
(5) At two positions, remove the nuts (27), the washers (22), the screws (23) and the clamps (21) which attach the right C-duct electrical harness to the bracket (Detail H).
(6) Remove the right C-duct electrical harness from the C-duct.
