A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Make sure that the ENG/MODE selector switch is in the NORM position.
(b) Make sure that the ENG/MASTER 1(2) control switch was in the OFF position not less than five minutes before you do this procedure.
(c) Put WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to energize FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 75-24-05-865-053-A (1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Make sure that the ENG/MODE selector switch is in the NORM position.

C. Get Access
(1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-803):
(a) FOR [4020KM1] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENGINE 1)

(2) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) in position.
4. Procedure(1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-803):
(a) FOR [4020KM1] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENGINE 1)

(2) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) in position.

A. Removal of the Electronic Engine Control (EEC) Cooling Blower (Upper) (1)
(1) Remove the EEC blower fire shield blanket (10) from the two blowers (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 75-24-05-000-803).
(2) Disconnection of the harness electrical connector
(3) Removal of the EEC cooling duct (in) (3) from the EEC cooling blower (upper) (1):
(a) Loosen the screw (5) from the clip (6).
(b) Remove the clip (6) that attaches the EEC cooling duct (in) (3) to the EEC cooling blower (upper) (1).
(c) Disconnect the EEC cooling duct (in) (3) from the EEC cooling blower (upper) (1).
(4) Removal of the EEC cooling duct (out) (4) from the EEC cooling blower (upper) (1):
(a) Loosen the screw (7) from the clip (8).
(b) Remove the clip (8) that attaches the EEC cooling duct (out) (4) to the EEC cooling blower (upper) (1).
(c) Disconnect the EEC cooling duct (out) (4) from the EEC cooling blower (upper) (1).
(5) Removal of the EEC cooling blower (upper) (1) from the mounting bracket (11):
(a) Remove the four captive bolts (9) that attach the EEC cooling blower (upper) (1) to the mounting bracket (11).
(b) Remove the EEC cooling blower (upper) (1) from the mounting bracket (11).
(6) Install COVER - PROTECTION and CAP - PROTECTION on the open ports, open tubes, open hoses and connectors.
(1) Remove the EEC blower fire shield blanket (10) from the two blowers (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 75-24-05-000-803).
(2) Disconnection of the harness electrical connector
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(a) Disconnect the HJ2A harness electrical connector (2) from the EEC cooling blower (upper) (1). (3) Removal of the EEC cooling duct (in) (3) from the EEC cooling blower (upper) (1):
(a) Loosen the screw (5) from the clip (6).
(b) Remove the clip (6) that attaches the EEC cooling duct (in) (3) to the EEC cooling blower (upper) (1).
(c) Disconnect the EEC cooling duct (in) (3) from the EEC cooling blower (upper) (1).
(4) Removal of the EEC cooling duct (out) (4) from the EEC cooling blower (upper) (1):
(a) Loosen the screw (7) from the clip (8).
(b) Remove the clip (8) that attaches the EEC cooling duct (out) (4) to the EEC cooling blower (upper) (1).
(c) Disconnect the EEC cooling duct (out) (4) from the EEC cooling blower (upper) (1).
(5) Removal of the EEC cooling blower (upper) (1) from the mounting bracket (11):
(a) Remove the four captive bolts (9) that attach the EEC cooling blower (upper) (1) to the mounting bracket (11).
(b) Remove the EEC cooling blower (upper) (1) from the mounting bracket (11).
(6) Install COVER - PROTECTION and CAP - PROTECTION on the open ports, open tubes, open hoses and connectors.
