(1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-802):
(a) FOR [4020KM1] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENG 1)

(2) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position.

4. Procedure
Subtask 73-21-61-020-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Removal of the Electronic Engine Control (EEC) Wiring Harness (WF01)

CAUTION: WIPE CLEAN ALL PARTS AND TOOLS AS NECESSARY TO REMOVE UNWANTED DEBRIS AND PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.

(1) Find the harness (WF01) (1) attached to the right hand-side of the fan case.
(2) Remove the harness (WF01) (1) from the engine as follows:
(a) Disconnect the harness (WF01) connectors from the engine with the PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT as follows:
1 Disconnect the connector (P2) from the EEC.
2 Disconnect the connector (P403) from the pylon.
3 Disconnect the connector (P407) from the pylon.
4 Disconnect the harness (W03) connector (P101) from the harness (WF01) (1).
5 Disconnect the connector (P103) from the harness (WF02).
(b) Remove the two bolts (2) and the harness (WF01) (1) from the bracket.
(c) Remove the harness (WF01) (1) from the spring clips.
(d) Remove the harness (WF01) (1) from the engine.
(3) Installation of the protection covers

CAUTION: INSTALL PROTECTION COVERS ON ALL THE OPENINGS IMMEDIATELY TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.

(a) Make sure that you install COVER - PROTECTION as necessary to prevent damage to the engine.
