A. Installation of the T12 Temperature Sensor.
(1) Install the T12 sensor into the support bracket on the inlet cowl.
(2) Secure the T12 sensor to the support bracket using 4 bolts and washers. TORQUE the bolts to between 1.2 and 1.1 m.daN (106.19 and 97.35 lbf.in )
(3) Remove the blanking cap from the electrical connectors and the blanking plug from the sensor housing.
(4) Install the electrical connectors on the sensor housing .
(5) Install the housing strip on the sensor housing.
(6) Install the nut and washer which secure the bonding strip to the sensor housing. TORQUE the nut to between 0.47 and 0.43 m.daN (41.59 and 38.05 lbf.in )

. B. Apply a bead of aerodynamic sealant to the gap between the T12 sensor and the inner barrel of the inlet cowl as follows:
(1) Remove all loose or damage sealant with a SPATULA - PLASTIC.
(2) Use aluminum oxide abrasive paper 320 grit or finer to make the surfaces of the joint rough where the primer and the sealant will be applied.
(4) Wipe the surfaces dry with a clean, dry, lint-free cloth.
(5) Put masking tape 2 in. (50.08 mm) on the inlet cowl around the circumference of the T12 sensor hole.
(7) Use a BRUSH - NYLON to apply a thin coat of primer 1200 (Material No.CP2244) to the joint.
(8) Let the primer air dry for a minimum of 20 minutes at 72 deg.F (22.22 deg.C) - 82 deg.F (27.78 deg.C) before DC93-006-1 sealant is applied.
(10) Apply a bead of DC93-006 (Material No.CP2497) to the joint of the inlet cowl and T12 sensor.
(11) Cure the sealant for 10 hours at 72 deg.F (22.22 deg.C) - 82 deg.F (27.78 deg.C) at a relative humidity of 50 percent or more.

(3) Clean the surfaces of the joint with a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with acetone (Material No.CP1039) or ardrox 552 (Material No.CP2559) or turco ind 79 (Material No.CP2560) or mag-chem teksol (Material No.CP2566) or degreasol 99 R (Material No.CP2584) or mag-chem skysol (Material No.CP2656) or isopropyl alcohol (Material No.CP1041) . (4) Wipe the surfaces dry with a clean, dry, lint-free cloth.
(5) Put masking tape 2 in. (50.08 mm) on the inlet cowl around the circumference of the T12 sensor hole.
WARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
(6) Mix the primer 1200 (Material No.CP2244) according to the manufacturer's instructions.

BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
(9) Mix the DC93-006 base and the DC93-006-1 catalyst per the manufacturer's instructions.
CAUTION:
THE CURE TEMPERATURE IS NOT TO EXCEED 120°F (49°C). A RELATIVE HUMIDITY OF LESS THAN 50 PERCENT WILL REQUIRE LONGER CURE TIME.
(12) As an alternate cure, cure the sealant for 2 hours at 72 deg.F (22.22 deg.C) - 82 deg.F (27.78 deg.C) (gel time), then cure the sealant for 2 hours at 100 deg.F (37.78 deg.C) - 120 deg.F (48.89 deg.C) at a relative humidity of 50 percent or more. C. Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
