A. Print the Trouble Shooting Data
   (1) On MCDU 1(2), get the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST ENG page (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-860-012).
   (2) Push the line key adjacent to the FADEC indication.
   (3) Push the line key adjacent to the TROUBLESHOOT DATA indication.
   (4) Print the troubleshooting data for each flight leg and ground leg.

   (1) Do the procedure to prevent engine motoring and to stop the electrical supply to the Electronic Engine Control (EEC)

C. Get Access
   (1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-802):
     (a) FOR [4020KM1] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENG 1)

     (b) FOR [4020KM2] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENG 2)

   (2) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) in position.
4. Procedure
Subtask 73-21-02-020-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Data Storage Unit (DSU)
CAUTION: WIPE CLEAN ALL PARTS AND TOOLS AS NECESSARY TO REMOVE UNWANTED DEBRIS AND PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
   (1) Find the DSU (3) attached to the EEC at the 2 o'clock position on the fan case assembly.
   (2) Remove the DSU (3) as follows:
     (a) Remove the bolt (2) that attaches the DSU lanyard to the EEC support bracket.
     (b) Use the PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT to disconnect the DSU (3) from the EEC.
     (c) Put the DSU (3) in a suitable CONTAINER - CLEAN, APPLICABLE.
   (3) Installation of protection covers
CAUTION: INSTALL PROTECTION COVERS ON ALL THE OPENINGS IMMEDIATELY TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
     (a) Make sure that you install COVER - PROTECTION as necessary to prevent damage to the engine.
