Sealol Seal Assembly of the IDG Drive PadSubtask 72-63-00-941-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 72-63-00-010-061-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.

A. Removal of the Sealol Seal
(2) Remove the sealol seal housing (90) with the 856A1130 TOOL SET - JACK SCREW (856A1130P12).
(3) Remove and discard the O-ring (120).
(4) Remove the rotating mating ring (130) as follows:
(b) Remove the rotating mating ring with the impact puller.
(c) For the fuel pump and hydraulic pump drive pads
1 Remove and discard the o-ring (140) from inner diameter of the rotating mating ring (130).
(d) For the starter and IDG drive pads

2 Remove and discard the bal-seal (145) from inner diameter of the rotating mating ring (130).

(e) Loosen nut, 856A3576 SEALOL AND MAGNETIC SEALS-R/I (856A3576P06) or 856A3576 SEALOL AND MAGNETIC SEALS-R/I (856A3576P11), and screw, 856A3576 SEALOL AND MAGNETIC SEALS-R/I (856A3576P05). Remove the tool. Remove the rotating mating ring, and put it in the CONTAINER - STORAGE.
CAUTION:
THE SEALOL SEALS ARE MATCHED ASSEMBLIES. IF ONE OF THE COMPONENTS IS DAMAGED, YOU MUST REPLACE THE COMPLETE SEAL.
(1) Remove the 3 nuts (110) and washers (100) which attach the sealol seal housing (90). (2) Remove the sealol seal housing (90) with the 856A1130 TOOL SET - JACK SCREW (856A1130P12).
(3) Remove and discard the O-ring (120).
(4) Remove the rotating mating ring (130) as follows:
NOTE: For the fuel pump and the hydraulic pump, use sleeve 856A3576 SEALOL AND MAGNETIC SEALS-R/I (856A3576P09), for 856A3576 SEALOL AND MAGNETIC SEALS-R/I (856A3576P10) and nut, 856A3576 SEALOL AND MAGNETIC SEALS-R/I (856A3576P11). and P11. For starter and Integrated Drive Generator (IDG), use sleeve, 856A3576 SEALOL AND MAGNETIC SEALS-R/I (856A3576P02), collet 856A3576 SEALOL AND MAGNETIC SEALS-R/I (856A3576P03) and nut 856A3576 SEALOL AND MAGNETIC SEALS-R/I (856A3576P06).
(a) Loosen nut, 856A3576 SEALOL AND MAGNETIC SEALS-R/I (856A3576P06) or 856A3576 SEALOL AND MAGNETIC SEALS-R/I (856A3576P11) and screw, 856A3576 SEALOL AND MAGNETIC SEALS-R/I (856A3576P05), of the tool, and install on the rotating mating ring until contact with sleeve 856A3576 SEALOL AND MAGNETIC SEALS-R/I (856A3576P02) or 856A3576 SEALOL AND MAGNETIC SEALS-R/I (856A3576P09). Tighten screw, 856A3576 SEALOL AND MAGNETIC SEALS-R/I (856A3576P05). (b) Remove the rotating mating ring with the impact puller.
(c) For the fuel pump and hydraulic pump drive pads
1 Remove and discard the o-ring (140) from inner diameter of the rotating mating ring (130).
(d) For the starter and IDG drive pads

(e) Loosen nut, 856A3576 SEALOL AND MAGNETIC SEALS-R/I (856A3576P06) or 856A3576 SEALOL AND MAGNETIC SEALS-R/I (856A3576P11), and screw, 856A3576 SEALOL AND MAGNETIC SEALS-R/I (856A3576P05). Remove the tool. Remove the rotating mating ring, and put it in the CONTAINER - STORAGE.
