Subtask 72-56-00-860-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
(3) Make sure that the core nozzle is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 78-11-11-000-040).
(4) Make sure that the centerbody is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 78-11-12-000-040).
4. Procedure(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
(3) Make sure that the core nozzle is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 78-11-11-000-040).
(4) Make sure that the centerbody is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 78-11-12-000-040).

A. Installation of the Flange Assembly
PRE SB CFMI 72-259
(1) Install the flange assembly (90) in position on the LPT frame.
(2) Lubricate the threads of bolts (70) with graphite grease (Material No.CP2101) .
(3) Attach the flange assembly (90) with thirty two bolts (70).
(4) TORQUE the bolts (70) to between 90 and 85 lbf.in (1.02 and 0.96 m.daN )

POST SB CFMI 72-259
(5) Install a new AIPC 72-56-00-02-010 GASKET SEAL (80) on the rear flange of the oil inlet cover.
(6) Install the flange assembly (90) in position on the LPT frame.
(7) Lubricate the threads of bolts (70) with graphite grease (Material No.CP2101) .
(9) TORQUE the bolts (70) to between 90 and 85 lbf.in (1.02 and 0.96 m.daN )

(10) Lubricate the threads of bolts (40) with graphite grease (Material No.CP2101) .
(11) Install the sleeve (60) in position on the flange assembly.
(12) Attach the sleeve (60) with three bolts (40) and washers (50).
(13) TORQUE the bolts (40) to between 110 and 100 lbf.in (1.24 and 1.13 m.daN )

(1) Install the flange assembly (90) in position on the LPT frame.
(2) Lubricate the threads of bolts (70) with graphite grease (Material No.CP2101) .
(3) Attach the flange assembly (90) with thirty two bolts (70).
(4) TORQUE the bolts (70) to between 90 and 85 lbf.in (1.02 and 0.96 m.daN )

(5) Install a new AIPC 72-56-00-02-010 GASKET SEAL (80) on the rear flange of the oil inlet cover.
(6) Install the flange assembly (90) in position on the LPT frame.
(7) Lubricate the threads of bolts (70) with graphite grease (Material No.CP2101) .
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT THE GASKET SEAL IS IN THE CORRECT POSITION ON THE REAR FLANGE OF THE OIL INLET COVER.
(8) Attach the flange assembly (90) with thirty two bolts (70). (9) TORQUE the bolts (70) to between 90 and 85 lbf.in (1.02 and 0.96 m.daN )

(10) Lubricate the threads of bolts (40) with graphite grease (Material No.CP2101) .
(11) Install the sleeve (60) in position on the flange assembly.
(12) Attach the sleeve (60) with three bolts (40) and washers (50).
(13) TORQUE the bolts (40) to between 110 and 100 lbf.in (1.24 and 1.13 m.daN )
. B. Installation of the Flame Arrestor
(1) Lubricate the threads of bolts (20) with graphite grease (Material No.CP2101) .

(2) Install the flame arrestor (30) in position on the flange assembly (90).
POST SB CFMI 72-447
(3) Install the flame arrestor (10) or (30) in position on the flange assembly (90).

(4) Attach the flame arrestor with six bolts (20).
(5) TORQUE the bolts (20) to between 110 and 100 lbf.in (1.24 and 1.13 m.daN )

5. Close-up(1) Lubricate the threads of bolts (20) with graphite grease (Material No.CP2101) .

(2) Install the flame arrestor (30) in position on the flange assembly (90).
POST SB CFMI 72-447
(3) Install the flame arrestor (10) or (30) in position on the flange assembly (90).

(4) Attach the flame arrestor with six bolts (20).
(5) TORQUE the bolts (20) to between 110 and 100 lbf.in (1.24 and 1.13 m.daN )

(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the centerbody (Ref. AMM TASK 78-11-12-400-040).
(3) Install the core nozzle (Ref. AMM TASK 78-11-11-400-040).
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
