Subtask 72-23-00-941-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

B. Get Access
(1) Remove the spinner front cone (Ref. AMM TASK 72-21-00-000-001).
(2) Remove the spinner rear cone (Ref. AMM TASK 72-21-00-000-002).
(3) Remove the fan blades (Ref. AMM TASK 72-21-00-000-003).
4. Procedure(1) Remove the spinner front cone (Ref. AMM TASK 72-21-00-000-001).
(2) Remove the spinner rear cone (Ref. AMM TASK 72-21-00-000-002).
(3) Remove the fan blades (Ref. AMM TASK 72-21-00-000-003).
Subtask 72-23-00-310-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Repair of Fan Composite Outlet Vane
(1) Use a CUTTER - THIN BLADE to remove polyurethane residues and loose fibers and obtain a smooth and continuous profile, without sharp edges.
(2) Cleaning of the leading edge:
(3) Cut off a length ofCP2515 Speed Tape (aluminum) 3M ALY 434 or CP2516 Speed Tape (aluminum) 3M ALY 435 333 mm (13 in.) long 50 mm (2 in.) wide.
(4) Apply the speed tape symetricaly over the OGV leading edge. Make sure it bonds correctly to the leading edge concave and convex surface without wrinkling.
(5) Put hand pressure on the tape to complete the bonding.
5. Close-up(1) Use a CUTTER - THIN BLADE to remove polyurethane residues and loose fibers and obtain a smooth and continuous profile, without sharp edges.
(2) Cleaning of the leading edge:
WARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
(a) Clean the leading edge concave and convex sides of the composite OGV with acetone (Material No.CP1039) or isopropyl alcohol (Material No.CP1041) or stoddard solvent (Material No.CP2011) or ardrox 552 (Material No.CP2559) or turco ind 79 (Material No.CP2560) or mag-chem teksol (Material No.CP2566) or degreasol 99 R (Material No.CP2584) or mag-chem skysol (Material No.CP2656) . (3) Cut off a length of

A. Close Access
(1) Install the fan blades (Ref. AMM TASK 72-21-00-400-003).
(2) Install the spinner rear cone (Ref. AMM TASK 72-21-00-400-002).
(3) Install the spinner front cone (Ref. AMM TASK 72-21-00-400-001).
(4) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(5) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(1) Install the fan blades (Ref. AMM TASK 72-21-00-400-003).
(2) Install the spinner rear cone (Ref. AMM TASK 72-21-00-400-002).
(3) Install the spinner front cone (Ref. AMM TASK 72-21-00-400-001).
(4) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(5) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
