A. Depreservation
(1) If engine was previously preserved according to "Preservation for a period of up to 30 days" (Ref. AMM TASK 72-00-00-600-001), do the steps that follow:
(a) Remove all moisture barrier material, seals, caps, covers, as applicable, from the engine.
(b) Do a full thrust reverser cycle (Ref. AMM TASK 78-31-00-710-040).
(2) Otherwise, do the steps that follow:
(a) Remove all moisture barrier material, seals, caps, covers, as applicable, from the engine.
(b) Make sure that all the elements removed from the engine are re-installed and that all fuel and oil lines and electrical connectors are connected.
(c) Drain oil tank (Ref. AMM TASK 12-13-79-610-003).
(d) Drain accessory drive assembly (Ref. AMM TASK 12-13-79-610-004).
(e) Fill tank with 19.6 l (5.2 USgal) of approved engine oil (Material No.CP2442) (Ref. AMM TASK 12-13-79-610-001).
(f) Do a wet motoring of the engine (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-002).
(g) Do one or several dry motoring operations to remove residual fuel (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-001).
(h) Do a full thrust reverser cycle (Ref. AMM TASK 78-31-00-710-040) or (Ref. AMM TASK 78-31-00-710-040).
