A. Installation of the Hydro-Mechanical-Unit (HMU) Drain Tube.
(1) Remove the protective covers from the hydro mechanical unit, the tube (75), and the tube (80).
(2) Connect the hydro mechanical unit drain tube (80) to the hydro mechanical unit (HMU). Do not torque the coupling at this time.
(3) Put the clamp (85) on the tube (80) and attach it to the clamp (90) on the wire harness with the bolt, washer and nut.
(4) Connect the hydro mechanical unit drain tube (80) to the heat exchanger tube (75). Do not torque the coupling at this time.
(5) Make sure that the hydro mechanical unit drain tube (80) is aligned correctly on the engine.
(6) TORQUE the coupling nuts on the two ends of the hydro mechanical unit drain tube (80) to between 160 and 150 lbf.in (1.81 and 1.70 m.daN )
.
