3. Job Set-up
Subtask 71-73-49-860-070-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
   (2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

B. Make sure that the fan cowl doors are open: (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040)

4. Procedure
Subtask 71-73-49-420-075-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Heat Exchanger Drain-Tube.
   (1) Remove the protective covers from the tubes and tube fittings.
   (2) Connect the heat exchanger tube (75) to the heat exchanger . Do not torque the coupling at this time.
   (3) Attach the heat exchanger tube (75) to the tube (40) with the clamp (5), the screw (10), the washer (15), and the nut (20).
   (4) Attach the heat exchanger tube (75) to the fuel pump bracket with the clamp (5), the screw (10), the washer (15), and the nut (20).

PRE SB RA32071-13 and SB RA32071-14

   (5) Connect the heat exchanger tube (75) to the manifold module. Do not torque the coupling at this time.

POST SB RA32071-13 and PRE SB RA32071-14

   (6) Connect the heat exchanger tube (75) to the manifold module. Do not torque the coupling at this time.
   (7) Connect the tube (55) to the heat exchanger tube (75). Do not torque the coupling at this time.

POST SB RA32071-14

   (8) Connect the heat exchanger tube (75) to the manifold module. Do not torque the coupling at this time.
   (9) Connect the tubes (55) and (80) to the heat exchanger tube (75). Do not torque the couplings at this time.

END SB RA32071-13 and SB RA32071-14

   (10) Make sure that the heat exchanger tube (75) is aligned correctly on the engine.
   (11) TORQUE the nuts (20) to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN ) T.
   (12) TORQUE all the couplings to between 250 and 200 lbf.in (2.83 and 2.26 m.daN )
