A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
   (2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

4. Procedure
Subtask 71-73-49-420-072-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Fan Case Drain Tube
   (1) Remove the protective covers from the manifold module, the engine tube, and the ends of the drain tube (35).
   (2) Connect the fan case drain tube (35) to the manifold module. Do not torque the coupling at this time.
   (3) Connect the fan case drain tube (35) to the engine tube. Do not torque the coupling at this time.
   (4) Attach the fan case drain tube (35) to the oil tank drain tube (30) with the clamp (5), the screw (10), the washer (15) and the nut (20).
   (5) Make sure that the fan case drain tube (35) is aligned correctly on the engine.
   (6) TORQUE the nut (20) to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN ) T.
   (7) TORQUE all the couplings to between 315 and 300 lbf.in (3.56 and 3.39 m.daN )
