A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 71-73-49-010-104-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
B. Make sure that the fan cowl doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040):

Subtask 71-73-49-420-071-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Oil Tank Drain Tube and Hose.
(1) Remove the protective covers from the manifold module, the oil tank, the drain tube, and the drain hose.
(2) Connect the oil tank drain hose (25) to the oil tank. Do not torque the coupling at this time.
(3) Connect the oil tank drain tube (30) to the hose (25) and the manifold module. Do not torque the coupling at this time.
(4) Attach the tube (30) to the top fan case bracket with the clamp (5), the screw (10), and the washer (15).
(5) Attach the tube (30) to the lower fan case bracket with the clamp (5), the screw (10), the washer (15), and the nut (20).
(6) Attach the tube (30) to the fan case drain tube (35) with the clamp (5), the screw (10), the washer (15), and the nut (20).
(7) Make sure that the oil tank hose (25) and the oil tank drain tube (30) are aligned correctly on the engine.
(8) TORQUE the nuts (20) to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN )

(9) TORQUE all the couplings to between 250 and 200 lbf.in (2.83 and 2.26 m.daN )
.
Subtask 71-73-49-420-071-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the protective covers from the manifold module, the oil tank, the drain tube, and the drain hose.
(2) Connect the oil tank drain hose (25) to the oil tank. Do not torque the coupling at this time.
(3) Connect the oil tank drain tube (30) to the hose (25) and the manifold module. Do not torque the coupling at this time.
(4) Attach the tube (30) to the top fan case bracket with the clamp (5), the screw (10), and the washer (15).
(5) Attach the tube (30) to the lower fan case bracket with the clamp (5), the screw (10), the washer (15), and the nut (20).
(6) Attach the tube (30) to the fan case drain tube (35) with the clamp (5), the screw (10), the washer (15), and the nut (20).
(7) Make sure that the oil tank hose (25) and the oil tank drain tube (30) are aligned correctly on the engine.
(8) TORQUE the nuts (20) to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN )
. (9) TORQUE all the couplings to between 250 and 200 lbf.in (2.83 and 2.26 m.daN )
. A. Installation of the Oil Tank Drain Tube and Hose
(1) Remove the protective covers from the manifold module, the oil tank, the drain tube (30), and the drain hose (25).
(2) Connect the oil tank drain hose (25) to the oil tank. Do not torque the coupling at this time.
(3) Connect the oil tank drain tube (30) to the hose (25) and the manifold module. Do not torque the coupling at this time.
(4) Attach the tube (30) to the top fan case channel assembly with the clamp (5), and the bolt (12).
(5) Attach the tube (30) to the lower fan case bracket with the clamp (5), the screw (10), the washer (15), and the nut (20).
(6) Attach the tube (30) to the fan case drain tube (35) with the clamp (5), the bolt (12), and the nut (23).
(7) Make sure that the oil tank hose (25) and the oil tank drain tube (30) are aligned correctly on the engine.
(8) TORQUE the nuts (20) and (23) to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN )

(9) TORQUE all the couplings to between 250 and 200 lbf.in (2.83 and 2.26 m.daN )
.
5. Close-up(1) Remove the protective covers from the manifold module, the oil tank, the drain tube (30), and the drain hose (25).
(2) Connect the oil tank drain hose (25) to the oil tank. Do not torque the coupling at this time.
(3) Connect the oil tank drain tube (30) to the hose (25) and the manifold module. Do not torque the coupling at this time.
(4) Attach the tube (30) to the top fan case channel assembly with the clamp (5), and the bolt (12).
(5) Attach the tube (30) to the lower fan case bracket with the clamp (5), the screw (10), the washer (15), and the nut (20).
(6) Attach the tube (30) to the fan case drain tube (35) with the clamp (5), the bolt (12), and the nut (23).
(7) Make sure that the oil tank hose (25) and the oil tank drain tube (30) are aligned correctly on the engine.
(8) TORQUE the nuts (20) and (23) to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN )
. (9) TORQUE all the couplings to between 250 and 200 lbf.in (2.83 and 2.26 m.daN )
