A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 71-73-49-010-095-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.

B. Open the fan cowl doors: (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040)

Subtask 71-73-49-020-080-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Hydraulic Pump Drain Tube.
(1) Put a CONTAINER 1 L (1/4 USGAL) below the drain reservoir to catch any fluid remaining in the tube.
(2) Disconnect the hydraulic pump drain tube (105) from the drain reservoir and allow the fluid to drain.
(3) Remove the clamp (5), the screw (10), the washer (15), and the nut (20) that attach the drain tube (105) to the accessory gearbox bracket.
(4) Disconnect the hydraulic pump drain tube (105) from the hydraulic pump.
(5) Remove the hydraulic pump drain tube (105) from the engine.
(6) Put COVER - PROTECTION on the drain reservoir, the hydraulic pump, and the drain tube (105).
(7) Remove the container from below the drain reservoir.
(1) Put a CONTAINER 1 L (1/4 USGAL) below the drain reservoir to catch any fluid remaining in the tube.
(2) Disconnect the hydraulic pump drain tube (105) from the drain reservoir and allow the fluid to drain.
(3) Remove the clamp (5), the screw (10), the washer (15), and the nut (20) that attach the drain tube (105) to the accessory gearbox bracket.
(4) Disconnect the hydraulic pump drain tube (105) from the hydraulic pump.
(5) Remove the hydraulic pump drain tube (105) from the engine.
(6) Put COVER - PROTECTION on the drain reservoir, the hydraulic pump, and the drain tube (105).
(7) Remove the container from below the drain reservoir.
