A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 71-73-49-010-093-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.

Subtask 71-73-49-020-076-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Heat Exchanger Drain Tube.
(1) Put a CONTAINER 1 L (1/4 USGAL) below the drain mast to catch any fluid remaining in the tube.
(2) Remove the clamps (5), the screws (10), the washers (15), and the nuts (20) that attach the tube (75) to the tube (40) and to the fuel pump bracket.
PRE SB RA32071-13 and SB RA32071-14
(3) Disconnect the heat exchanger drain tube (75) from the manifold module and allow the fluid to drain.
POST SB RA32071-13 and PRE SB RA32071-14
(4) Disconnect the heat exchanger drain tube (75) from the manifold module and allow the fluid to drain.
(5) Disconnect the tube (55) from the heat exchanger drain tube (75).
POST SB RA32071-14
(6) Disconnect the heat exchanger drain tube (75) from the manifold module and allow the fluid to drain.
(7) Disconnect the tubes (55) and (80) from the heat exchanger drain tube (75).
END SB RA32071-13 and SB RA32071-14
(8) Disconnect the heat exchanger drain tube (75) from the heat exchanger.
(9) Remove the heat exchanger drain tube (75) from the engine.
(10) Put COVER - PROTECTION on the tubes and tube fittings.
(11) Remove the container from below the drain mast.
(1) Put a CONTAINER 1 L (1/4 USGAL) below the drain mast to catch any fluid remaining in the tube.
(2) Remove the clamps (5), the screws (10), the washers (15), and the nuts (20) that attach the tube (75) to the tube (40) and to the fuel pump bracket.
PRE SB RA32071-13 and SB RA32071-14
(3) Disconnect the heat exchanger drain tube (75) from the manifold module and allow the fluid to drain.
POST SB RA32071-13 and PRE SB RA32071-14
(4) Disconnect the heat exchanger drain tube (75) from the manifold module and allow the fluid to drain.
(5) Disconnect the tube (55) from the heat exchanger drain tube (75).
POST SB RA32071-14
(6) Disconnect the heat exchanger drain tube (75) from the manifold module and allow the fluid to drain.
(7) Disconnect the tubes (55) and (80) from the heat exchanger drain tube (75).
END SB RA32071-13 and SB RA32071-14
(8) Disconnect the heat exchanger drain tube (75) from the heat exchanger.
(9) Remove the heat exchanger drain tube (75) from the engine.
(10) Put COVER - PROTECTION on the tubes and tube fittings.
(11) Remove the container from below the drain mast.
