A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

B. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the fan cowl doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040):
(2) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)

(4) Make sure that the drain mast (5) is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 71-71-42-000-040).

4. Procedure
Subtask 71-71-43-420-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Installation of the Drain Manifold Module
(1) Install the drain manifold module (10) to the brackets with the bolts (15), the washers (20) and the nuts (25). TORQUE the bolts to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN )

(2) Remove the protective covers from the drain tubes and the module ports (10).
(3) Connect the drain tubes to the module (10). TORQUE the couplings to between 315 and 285 lbf.in (3.56 and 3.22 m.daN )

5. Close-up

A. Close Access
(1) Install the drain mast (5) (Ref. AMM TASK 71-71-42-400-040).
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(3) Close the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-040):

(6) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
