A. Safety Precautions
   (1) Do the procedure to prevent engine motoring
(Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-860-833).

B. Get Access
   (1) Open the fan cowl doors (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-802):
     (a) FOR [4020KM1] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENG 1)

     (b) FOR [4020KM2] (POWER PLANT-DEMOUNTABLE, ENG 2)

   (2) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) in position.

C. Disconnect the anti-ice duct from the inlet cowl (Ref. AMM TASK 30-21-49-000-807).
4. Procedure
CAUTION: WIPE CLEAN ALL PARTS AND TOOLS AS NECESSARY TO REMOVE UNWANTED DEBRIS AND PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.

A. Removal of the Anti-Ice Access Panel
   (1) Remove the inner and outer seal housings and seals (Ref. AMM TASK 71-61-15-000-801).

PRE VSB GRAA320NEO-A-71-61-0002-00001-930A D

   (2) Remove the 60 bolts (1) and the 60 washers (2) that attach the anti-ice access panel (3) to the inlet cowl.
NOTE: Remove the sealant on the anti-ice access panel (3) with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC, if necessary.

   (3) Remove the 60 bolts (1) and 60 washers (2) that attach the anti-ice access panel (3) and the gasket (4) to the inlet cowl.
   (4) Remove the gasket (4).

   (5) Remove the anti-ice access panel (3) from the inlet cowl.
   (6) Installation of the protection covers
CAUTION: INSTALL PROTECTION COVERS ON ALL THE OPENINGS IMMEDIATELY TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
     (a) Make sure that you install COVER - PROTECTION as necessary to prevent damage to the engine.
