A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
   (2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
   (3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) is in position.

4. Procedure
Subtask 71-51-44-420-056-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Left Side Harness 238W0904
NOTE: Refer to the recommended procedure for the installation of the wire harness (Ref. AMM TASK 70-60-00-910-042).
NOTE: Make sure you tighten each connector with your hand plus one-eighth turn when you connect the electrical connectors.
   (1) Remove the protective covers from the electrical connectors.
   (2) Put the electrical harness (5) in position on the engine.
   (3) On the right side of the engine, connect the electrical connectors 408VC-A, 409VC-A and 447VC-A to the pylon junction box.
   (4) Connect the electrical connector 4005VC to the electrical connector 4005VC-A.
   (5) Put the clamp (30) on the harness (5) and attach it to clamps (30) and (70) with the screw (10), the washers (15) and (20) and the nut (25).
NOTE: Detail A shows the most current harness instalaation. Details B and C illustrates initial harness installation. Refer to illustrated parts catalog for applicable harness installation configurations.
   (6) Put the clamps (30), (40) and (65) on the harness (5).
   (7) Attach the clamps (30), (40) and (65) to the bracket with the screws (35), the washers (15) and the nuts (25).
   (8) Attach the harness (5) to the flange station 176 with the clamps (60), the bolts (45), the washers (50) and the nuts (55).
   (9) TORQUE the nuts (25) and (55) to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN ) T.
   (10) On the left side, attach the harness (5) to the flange station 176 with the clamps (60), the bolts (45), the washers (50) and the nuts (55).
   (11) Put the clamp (60) on the harness (5) and attach it to flange 176 with the screw (35), the washer (15) and the nut (25).
   (12) Install the clamp (60) on the harness (5) and attach it to flange station 176 with the hardware that is installed in hole 14.
   (13) Put the clamps (75), (80), (85) and (90) on the harness (5).
   (14) Attach the clamps (80) and (90) to the brackets with the screws (35) and the washers (15) at two locations.
   (15) Attach the clamps (75), (85) and (90) to the brackets with the screws (35), the washers (15) and the nut (25).
   (16) Attach the ground wires to the ground studs with the washers (105), lockwashers (100) and the nuts (95):

   (17) Connect the electrical connector 4000EL-A to the fuel filter differential pressure switch.
   (18) Attach the harness (5) to the brackets at flange stations 185 and 191 with the screws (35), the washers (15) and the clamps (30).
   (19) Connect the electrical connector 1074GK-A/3074GD-A to the hydraulic low pressure switch.
   (20) Attach the harness (5) to the bracket at flange station 176 with clamps (85) and (110), the screws (35), the washers (15) and the nuts (25).
   (21) Attach the harness (5) to the brackets below the pressure switch with the clamps (40), the screws (35), the washers (15) and the nuts (25).
   (22) Connect the electrical connector 4000EN-A to the low oil pressure switch.
   (23) Connect the electrical connector 4003EN-A to the oil pressure transmitter.
   (24) Connect the electrical connector 4002EN-A to the oil quantity transmitter.
   (25) Install the clamps (40), (75) and (110) on the harness (5) between flange stations 185 and 191.
   (26) Attach the clamps (40), (75) and (110) to the brackets with the screws (35) and the washers (15).
   (27) Attach the clamp (40) to the support bracket with the existing hardware.
   (28) Attach the harness (5) to the brackets between flanges 191 and 199 with the clamps (40), the screws (35), the washers (15) and the nut (25).
   (29) Connect the electrical connector 4000KC-A to the fuel filter.
   (30) Attach the harness (5) to the fuel control harness with the clamps (40) and (110), the screws (35), the washers (15) and the nuts (25).
   (31) Connect the electrical connector 4000WD2-A to the fire detector.
   (32) Put the clamp (40) on the harness (5) below the transfer gearbox.
   (33) Attach the clamps (40), (125) and (130) to the support tube with the screw (120), the washer (15), the spacer (115) and the nut (25).
   (34) Put the clamps (40) on the harness (5) between flange stations 162 and 176.
   (35) Attach the clamps (40) to the brackets with the screws (35) and the washers (15) at four locations.
   (36) Attach the clamps (40) to the brackets on the accessory gearbox with the screws (35), the washers (15) and the nuts (25).
   (37) Attach the clamps (40) to the support bracket above the differential pressure switch with the screw (135), the washer (15) and the spacer (140).
   (38) Connect the electrical connector 4001EN-A to the oil filter differential pressure switch.
   (39) Attach the clamp (40) to the bracket below the differential pressure switch with the screw (120), the washer (15), the spacer (115) and the nut (25).
   (40) Connect the electrical connector 4004EN-A to the temperature switch.
   (41) Connect the electrical connector 4004WD1-A to the fire detector.
   (42) Connect the electrical connector 1030GK/3030GD-A to the hydraulic pump.
   (43) TORQUE the nuts (25) and (55) to between 25 and 20 lbf.in (0.28 and 0.23 m.daN )
T.
   (44) TORQUE the screws (35) and (135) to between 22 and 20 lbf.in (0.25 and 0.23 m.daN )
T.
   (45) Examine the harness installation and make sure that all clamps are installed correctly.
