Subtask 71-13-12-941-065-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Safety Precautions
(1) On the center pedestal, on ENG panel 115VU:
(a) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than five minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to energize FADEC 1(2).

(1) Make sure that the fan cowl-doors are open: (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-040)
(a) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)

4. Procedure
Subtask 71-13-12-420-064-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Installation of the Lower Hold-Open-Rod Brackets
(1) Install the right-lower hold-open-rod bracket (170):
(a) Install the brackets (160) and (170), bolts (130), washers (140) and nuts (150).
(b) TORQUE the nuts (150) to between 210 and 190 lbf.in (2.37 and 2.15 m.daN )

(2) Install the left-lower hold-open-rod bracket (580):
(a) Install the brackets (610) and (580), bolts (550), washers (560) and nuts (570).
(b) TORQUE the nuts (570) to between 210 and 190 lbf.in (2.37 and 2.15 m.daN )

5. Close-up

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the fan cowl-doors: (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-040)

(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
