Subtask 71-13-12-860-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
Subtask 71-13-12-010-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the center pedestal, on the ENG panel 115VU, make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off. Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

Subtask 71-13-12-420-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Hold-open Rod:
(1) Attach the forward/rear hold-open rod to the fan cowl door. Install the bolt (5), the washers (10), the nut (15) and the spacers (20 and 25).
(2) TORQUE the nut to between 140 and 100 lbf.in (1.58 and 1.13 m.daN )

(3) Push the collar up to engage the unconnected end of the rod to the retention bracket on the door.
(4) Lower the fan cowl door and remove the fan cowl sling.
(5) Remove the universal attach pads and install the filler plugs of the hoist points in the fan cowl door.
5. Close-up(1) Attach the forward/rear hold-open rod to the fan cowl door. Install the bolt (5), the washers (10), the nut (15) and the spacers (20 and 25).
(2) TORQUE the nut to between 140 and 100 lbf.in (1.58 and 1.13 m.daN )
. (3) Push the collar up to engage the unconnected end of the rod to the retention bracket on the door.
(4) Lower the fan cowl door and remove the fan cowl sling.
(5) Remove the universal attach pads and install the filler plugs of the hoist points in the fan cowl door.

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the fan cowl doors: (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-410-040)
(3) FOR [1000EM1] (ENGINE-1)

(5) Remove the access platform(s).
(6) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
