CAUTION:
WIPE CLEAN ALL PARTS AND TOOLS AS NECESSARY TO REMOVE UNWANTED DEBRIS AND PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
Subtask 71-13-10-210-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL A. General Visual Inspection of the Fan Cowl Baulk Bracket
(1) Do not discard a part until you are sure there are no repairs available. If you reject a part and no repair is available, contact United Technologies Aerospace Systems (UTAS) for disposition.
(2) Find the baulk bracket assembly above the aft fan cowl latch on the left fan cowl door.
(3) Do a general visual inspection of the baulk bracket assembly:
(a) Examine the baulk bracket assembly. Look for gouges, cracks, holes, distortions, and other damage. If you find damage, replace the baulk bracket assembly (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-10-300-801) or contact UTAS for disposition.
(b) Examine the pins, nuts and washers, if there, that attach the baulk bracket assembly. Look for cracks, gouges, too much wear, corrosion, correct assembly, and other damage. If you find damage, replace the damaged part (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-10-300-801).
(c) For CONFIGURATION 1 and CONFIGURATION 2
1 Examine the wear strip on the baulk bracket assembly. Look for too much wear, distortions, cracks, holes, gouges, nicks, corrosion, delamination, disbonds, and other damage. If you find damage, replace the baulk bracket assembly (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-10-300-801) or contact UTAS for disposition.
5. Close-up(1) Do not discard a part until you are sure there are no repairs available. If you reject a part and no repair is available, contact United Technologies Aerospace Systems (UTAS) for disposition.
(2) Find the baulk bracket assembly above the aft fan cowl latch on the left fan cowl door.
(3) Do a general visual inspection of the baulk bracket assembly:
(a) Examine the baulk bracket assembly. Look for gouges, cracks, holes, distortions, and other damage. If you find damage, replace the baulk bracket assembly (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-10-300-801) or contact UTAS for disposition.
