A. Safety Precautions
(2) Make sure that the SAFETY BARRIER(S) are in position.
(3) Make sure the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS is correctly installed on the flap/slat control lever.
(4) Make sure the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flaps or slats.
Subtask 57-27-11-010-068-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
BEFORE YOU DO WORK IN OR NEAR A FUEL TANK, MAKE SURE THAT YOU OBEY ALL THE SAFETY PROCEDURES. THIS WILL PREVENT INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.
(1) You must obey the fuel safety procedures when you do work in a fuel tank, (Ref. AMM TASK 28-10-00-910-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 28-10-00-910-002). (2) Make sure that the SAFETY BARRIER(S) are in position.
(3) Make sure the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS is correctly installed on the flap/slat control lever.
(4) Make sure the WARNING NOTICE(S) are in position in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the flaps or slats.
B. Get Access
(1) Make sure the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position below the wing leading edge, zone 521(621).
(2) Make sure the leading-edge pressure-relief panel 521EB(621EB) is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-000-004).
4. Procedure(1) Make sure the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position below the wing leading edge, zone 521(621).
(2) Make sure the leading-edge pressure-relief panel 521EB(621EB) is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-000-004).

A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Use a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) to clean the interfaces of the:

- Access panel (1)
- Access panel assembly (2)
- Front spar.
- Access panel (1)
- Access panel assembly (2)
- Front spar skin.
B. Installation of the Access Panel(s)
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and equipment before you install the:
(4) Put the access panel (1) in position on the forward face of the front spar.
(5) Install and tighten the bolts (3).

- Front spar.
(4) Put the access panel (1) in position on the forward face of the front spar.
(5) Install and tighten the bolts (3).
C. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the applicable leading-edge pressure-relief panel 521EB(621EB) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-400-002).
5. Close-up(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the applicable leading-edge pressure-relief panel 521EB(621EB) (Ref. AMM TASK 57-41-37-400-002).

A. Removal of Equipment
(1) Remove the safety barriers.
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
(3) Remove the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS from the flap/slat control lever.
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(5) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(1) Remove the safety barriers.
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
(3) Remove the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS from the flap/slat control lever.
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(5) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
