3. Job Set-up
Subtask 56-22-13-860-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the aircraft is in the same configuration as for the removal task.
   (2) Clean the window frame (5) with the Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a clean lint-free cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
Subtask 56-22-13-860-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the aircraft is in the same configuration as for the removal task.
   (2) Clean the window frame (6) with the Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a clean lint-free cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
4. Procedure
Subtask 56-22-13-420-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation
   (1) Install the dummy window (3) and the seal (4) in the window frame (5).
   (2) Install the retainer (2).
   (3) Apply the Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.06AEA1) to the threads of the eyebolts (6).
   (4) Install, but do not tighten, the nuts (1) on the eyebolts (6) and make sure that:
  • The dummy window (3) is in the center of the window frame (5)
  • The seal (4) is the same width around the full window frame (5).
   (5) Torque the nuts (1) in a diagonal sequence to between 0.66 and 0.54 m.daN (58.41 and 47.79 lbf.in ) T.
   (6) Paint a red mark on the nuts (1) and the retainer (2).
Subtask 56-22-13-420-051-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation:
   (1) Install the dummy window (4) and the seal (5) in the window frame (6).
   (2) Install the retainer (8).
   (3) Apply the Polysulfide Sealant-Low Adhesion Brushable - (Material No.
06AEA1) to the threads of the eyebolts (1).
   (4) Install, but do not tighten, the nuts (7) and the nut (3) with the bonding strap (2) on the eyebolts (1). Make sure that:
  • The dummy window (4) is in the center of the window frame (6)
  • The seal (5) is the same width around the full window frame (6).
   (5) Torque the nuts (7) and (3) in a diagonal sequence to between 0.66 and 0.54 m.daN (58.41 and 47.79 lbf.in ) T.
   (6) Paint a red mark on the nuts (7) and (3) and the retainer (8).
5. Close-up

A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) If necessary, install the upper sidewall panels (
Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-43-400-001).
   (3) Remove the access platform(s).
   (4) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
