B. Make sure that the Green, Blue and Yellow hydraulic systems are depressurized (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-864-001).

C. Get Access
   (1) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the flight controls.
   (2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 15M (49 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position.
   (3) Put the CRANE HEIGHT 15 M (50 FT) in position.
4. Procedure
Subtask 55-32-11-020-052-B
A. Removal of the Vertical Stabilizer Leading-Edge
   (1) Remove the self-adhesive disks from the hoisting points and discard the self-adhesive disks (Ref. AMM TASK 11-00-00-000-004).
   (2) Remove the plastic plugs from the lift points.
   (3) Install the lift lugs with the eye end out of the leading edge panel (3).
   (4) Attach the 98A55308440001 SLING-UNIVERSAL,TAILPLANE to the lift lugs and to the crane.
   (5) Operate the crane and slowly tighten the sling cables.
   (6) Adjust the turnbuckles as necessary to get an equal tension.
   (7) Increase the cable tension to release the load from the screws (4).
   (8) Remove the screws (4).
   (9) Remove the leading edge panel (3) and lower it on the applicable support.
   (10) Remove the sling.
