(2) Inspect the area around the fastener(s) that leaks for cracks.
(3) Put all the contents of the two bags (sealant and accelerator) Polysulfide Sealant-Fuel Tank Brushable - (Material No.06ABA1) on a mixing palette. Mix the light and dark compounds together until you get an even color.
(4) Apply a small amount of mixed sealant Polysulfide Sealant-Fuel Tank Brushable - (Material No.06ABA1) to the center of the click patch. Remove the outer protective tape. Keep the mixing spatula with the remaining sealant mix to measure the curing time.
(5) Put the click patch over the center of the fastener that leaks and push the outer edges firmly on the wing surface.
(6) Push the click patch center to start the click mechanism. This will force the click patch and sealant on the repair area.
(7) Let the sealant to cure. Examine the remaining sealant mix to make sure that the sealant is fully cured.
(8) Hold the click patch cover by the edge and carefully remove it. Make sure that the click patch stays firmly attached to the wing surface. Remove any unwanted sealant.
(9) Refuel the tank (Ref. AMM TASK 12-11-28-650-004) and examine the repair for leaks.
(10) If the click patch does not stop the leak, continue as follows:
(b) Use a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) to carefully remove all signs of sealant from the wing surface.

WARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
A. Prepare the Repair Area NOTE: Before you clean the repair area, use Abrasive-- Scotch Brite Pads - (Material No.14FAB1) to lightly abrade the repair surface.
(1) Clean the repair area with the Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a clean lint-free cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) to remove all signs of fuel, hydraulic fluid, grease and jointing compound from the repair area. B. External Repair of the Fuel Tank with Sealant
(1) Apply the adhesion promoter Adhesion Promoter-For Polysulfide Sealant - - (Material No.06PAG1) to the leak area.
(3) If you cannot get a good seal, defuel the aircraft to below the leak level (Ref. AMM TASK 28-25-00-650-001).
(4) Apply a second coat of the Solid Sealant-Fuel Tank Temp. Repair Stick - (Material No.06JAJ1) or Polysulfide Sealant-Fuel Tank Quick Curing - (Material No.06ABF1) .
(5) Let the repair cure.
(6) Refuel the aircraft above the level of the repair (Ref. AMM TASK 12-11-28-650-004) and examine the fuel tank for leaks.
Subtask 51-76-12-360-050-A (1) Apply the adhesion promoter Adhesion Promoter-For Polysulfide Sealant - - (Material No.06PAG1) to the leak area.
NOTE: You can apply the adhesion promoter Adhesion Promoter-For Polysulfide Sealant - - (Material No.06PAG1) , if available.
(2) Apply the Solid Sealant-Fuel Tank Temp. Repair Stick - (Material No.06JAJ1) or Polysulfide Sealant-Fuel Tank Quick Curing - (Material No.06ABF1) to the leak area. Push the sealant into the leak source with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC until the leak stops.

NOTE: Leaks are not permitted.
(a) Use a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC to carefully lift the edge of the click patch from the wing surface. Hold the edge of the click patch and carefully remove its from the wing surface.
