A. Get access to the area of the corrosion.
4. ProcedureSubtask 51-74-11-140-051-A
A. Remove the Corrosion
(1) Clean the repair area with Aqueous Cleaner-Aircraft Exterior Pressure Spraying - (Material No.08ABC1) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Remove the corrosion with CLOTH-EMERY (GRADE 400).
(4) Clean the repair area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a lint-free cloth.
(5) Make a visual inspection with a MAGNIFYING GLASS to make sure that all the corrosion is removed.
(6) Apply Surface Pretreatment-Light Alloys Chemical Conversion Yellow - (Material No.10ABC1) on the repair area SRM 512111.
(7) Make sure that the remaining material thickness is correct NTM 511004.
(8) Wax and polish the repair area (Ref. AMM TASK 51-21-00-916-001).
5. Close-up(1) Clean the repair area with Aqueous Cleaner-Aircraft Exterior Pressure Spraying - (Material No.08ABC1) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
WARNING:
DO NOT APPLY ADHESIVE TAPE ON THE PROBES, DUCTS, SENSORS (STATIC, PITOT, TAT, AOA). USE ONLY THE SPECIFIED TOOLS FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE AIRCRAFT. THE SPECIFIED TOOLS:
(2) Cover the area adjacent to the damage with PAPER - MASKING and TAPE - MASKING. - GIVE THE CORRECT PROTECTION TO THE AIRCRAFT EQUIPMENT,
- ARE EASY TO SEE FROM THE GROUND,
- ARE EASY TO REMOVE.
(3) Remove the corrosion with CLOTH-EMERY (GRADE 400).
(4) Clean the repair area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a lint-free cloth.
(5) Make a visual inspection with a MAGNIFYING GLASS to make sure that all the corrosion is removed.
(6) Apply Surface Pretreatment-Light Alloys Chemical Conversion Yellow - (Material No.10ABC1) on the repair area SRM 512111.
(7) Make sure that the remaining material thickness is correct NTM 511004.
(8) Wax and polish the repair area (Ref. AMM TASK 51-21-00-916-001).

(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(3) Make an entry in the aircraft log book and attach a tag to the captain side stick to tell the crew that:
