A. General Visual Inspection
(1) Examine the external surfaces of the APU doors for signs of de-icing fluid contamination. If signs are found:
(a) Clean the surfaces.
(b) Do an inspection of the APU compartment doors seals (Ref. AMM TASK 49-13-00-200-003).
(c) Examine the APU compartment drain holes for signs of de-icing fluid contamination. If signs are found:
1 Do a general visual inspection of the APU compartment draining system (Ref. AMM TASK 49-17-00-200-802).
(2) Examine the external and internal surfaces of the APU intake duct for signs of de-icing fluid contamination. If signs are found:
(a) Clean the air intake and diffuser elbow (Ref. AMM TASK 49-16-00-100-005).
(b) Do an inspection of the APU intake diffuser and elbow seals (Ref. AMM TASK 49-16-00-200-002).
