(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position below the APU compartment.

A. General Visual Inspection of APU Compartment Drain System
(1) Clean the area around the draining holes with a lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) and Aqueous Cleaner-Aircraft Exterior Pressure Spraying - (Material No.08ABC1) .
(2) Examine the draining holes for blockage. If necessary, remove the blockage.
(3) If blockage is found into the drain mast, use a PROBE - NON METALLIC, FLEXIBLE to make sure that the drain pipe is not blocked.
(4) If the drain pipe is blocked, remove the blockage.
(5) Make sure that the drains are not blocked:
(a) Put water in the area of the drain hole and make sure that the water flows freely at the drain mast outlet.
(6) Make sure that the drain mast is correctly aligned.
5. Close-up(1) Clean the area around the draining holes with a lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) and Aqueous Cleaner-Aircraft Exterior Pressure Spraying - (Material No.08ABC1) .
