B. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position at the APU tail cone exhaust-area Zone 317.
(2) Remove the tail navigation light (15LA) (3) (Ref. AMM TASK 33-41-15-000-001).
Subtask 33-48-13-010-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position at the APU tail cone exhaust-area Zone 317.
(2) Remove the tail navigation light (15LA) (3) (Ref. AMM TASK 33-41-15-000-001).
B. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position at the APU tail cone exhaust-area Zone 317.
(2) Remove the lens from the tail navigation light (15LA) (3) (Ref. AMM TASK 33-41-15-000-002).
4. Procedure(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position at the APU tail cone exhaust-area Zone 317.
(2) Remove the lens from the tail navigation light (15LA) (3) (Ref. AMM TASK 33-41-15-000-002).

A. Removal of the Strobe-Light (19LV)
WARNING:
DO NOT REMOVE THE STROBE LIGHT FOR AT LEAST TEN MINUTES AFTER YOU DE-ENERGIZE THE ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS. THE HIGH VOLTAGE ELECTRICAL CURRENT IN THE CAPACITOR OF THE STROBE LIGHT IS DANGEROUS.
WARNING:
DO NOT DISCONNECT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS FOR AT LEAST 2 MINUTES AFTER YOU DE-ENERGIZE THE ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS.
WARNING:
BE CAREFUL IF YOU TOUCH THE STROBE LIGHT WITH THE COVER REMOVED AND THE POWER APPLIED. SOME COMPONENTS HAVE DANGEROUS VOLTAGES.
WARNING:
DO NOT TOUCH THE STROBE LIGHTS FOR AT LEAST 5 MINUTES AFTER OPERATION. THE STROBE LIGHT WILL STILL BE HOT.
(1) Remove the screws (1), the washers (2) and the tail cone strobe-light (4) from the tail navigation light (3).
