WARNING: ISOLATE THE ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS FROM THE RELATED EQUIPMENT AND THE ENVIRONMENT.
NOTE: You can also remove the upper beacon/strobe light from the outside of the fuselage (Ref. TASK 33-48-11-000-001).

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that switch 2LV BEACON ON-OFF on the overhead panel 25VU is in the OFF position.
   (2) Make sure that switch 4WL EMER EXIT LT OFF-ARM-ON on the overhead panel 25VU is in the OFF position.
   (3) Make sure that the pushbutton EMERG LIGHT on Forward Attendant Panel (FAP) 120RH is in the released position.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the switch 2LV BEACON ON-OFF on the overhead panel 25VU is in the OFF position.
   (2) Make sure that the switch 4WL EMER EXIT LT OFF-ARM-ON on the overhead panel 25VU is in the OFF position.
   (3) Make sure that the EMER button on the Flight Attendant Panel (FAP) 120RH is OFF.

C. Get Access
   (1) Put the STEPLADDER 1.5 M (5 FT) in position.
   (2) Remove center ceiling panel 241CC to get access to the upper beacon/strobe light (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-41-000-001).

A. Removal of Upper Beacon/Strobe Light 7LV
F Upper Beacon/Strobe Light 7LV ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
   (1) Disconnect the electrical connector (8) from the LED module (5).
   (2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
   (3) Loosen the screw (9) from the clamp (10).
   (4) Remove the clamp (10).
   (5) Lower the flange (7) with the O-ring (6).
   (6) Remove the screws (4) from the LED module (5).
   (7) Remove the LED module (5) from the flange (7).

CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
   (1) Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the light assembly (2).
   (2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
   (3) Loosen the screw (7) and remove the V-clamp (6) from the flange (3).
   (4) Disengage the pin (13) of the light assembly (2) from the bung (10).
   (5) Lower the moveable part of the flange (3) with the O-ring (4).
   (6) Remove the screws (5) from the light assembly (2).
   (7) Remove the light assembly (2) with the seal (12) from the moveable part of the flange (3).
